I am Iranian Lur from Alborz Province. I can not speak for all the Iranian Lurs. but my tribe is Median Lurs. we have lived in this lands for thousands of years and know our history well. However I must say that I have never seen any other people as Iranian patriots as we are. Most of us were against this Mullah-regime from the start and still are. Long live all Iranian peoples!!!

Hi friends,I'm Kurdish...Lori language is southwestern Iranian language just like Persian and the Kurdish language is northwestern Iranian language.The Kurds=Kormanj+Soran+Goran! Lors close to Persians.

to easternartskstjohn and AlanAlan2001: you are both very right but if you don't see the electronic instruments and just listen to the music the players have made use of digitized / sampled original instruments. i hope too however that these people won't disconnect from traditional acoustic instruments totally though. after all, digital samples can be lost and are rather hard and expensive to maintain while acoustic instruments can be preserved more easily and do not require electricity to work.

kurdish with all its accents is a part of the iranc language..just like dari(not farsi)lori..bakhtiari..gilaki..ect..i am a kurdish from iraq kurdstan..n i speak Dari perfectly..we share the same grammer n roots with all iranic languages.
