The chief medical officer who performed Tammy Daybell’s autopsy finished his testimony in court Tuesday. Later, the state called Chad Daybell’s good friends from church - Alice and Todd Gilbert - to testify. The Gilberts said they loved Tammy and remember feeling awkward when Chad told them he had a new girlfriend - Lori Vallow - just weeks after Tammy’s death. Lori Vallow Daybell is currently on trial for Tammy’s murder, along with the murders of two of her children.

They really aren’t disputing anything. Any cross they have done is just basically reiterating what the prosecutors already laid the foundation for. Unfortunately, our justice system gives more rights to the criminals than their victims and this situation is no different. Even in their opening argument, they basically said “please don’t hold it against us that we have to defend her.” I feel bad for them. I truly do. They seem like excellent public defenders but they just happen to be representing a monster of a person. It’s difficult defending the indefensible.

I'm also watching the step mum case, that's a nutter, and I've noticed the defence is same, laid back and going through motions. It must be so hard defending people who you know are guilty of most awful crimes.

I honestly think that’s what their method is going to be is just trying to pull as much specific facts from all testimonies , so that if for any reason, there’s any discrepancy in something later on, then they can point to that as trying to accuse them of lying. The only way they can win is to show the other side as untrustworthy witnesses and testimony etc

@@MDSMITH9Oh, she believes it. In that part of the country, everyone who matters is LDS. It’s naive to claim that there is no religious entanglement in government. The LDS is the government. Chad had the authority to waive an autopsy for Tammy. Had he been a Jew or a Catholic, he would have been out of luck. But law enforcement, the coroner, etc are LDS. The LDS pretty much runs everything. And if you aren’t LDS, you don’t matter. People who are LDS don’t let their kids hang out with non-LDS kids. They don’t date non-LDS kids. They do not intermarry. It’s a closed system. Instead of a mental health eval, the mental health “professionals” got Lori in touch with LDS lawyers in Salt Lake. She was released with no mental health eval. I have been practicing several decades & have never heard of a church having that kind of power over legal decisions. That never should have happened! Had Lori been evaluated by objective mental health experts Charles wouldn’t have ended up dead. And it’s possible this whole plot might have been uncovered.

I think ultimately they aren’t going to try to show the murders didn’t happen, but that Lori wasn’t part of the conspiracy

Wonder what she thinks now since "doomsday" has come and gone and the world didn't end. She followed evil, embraced evil lies, and committed evil crimes against these beautiful children. May God be with her family and the Chad's ex wife. I just wished ppl would have listened to Charles.

It’s so funny because she’s the one out here looking like the demon herself. She had nothing but the embodiment of evil in her heart and the fact that she thought she could see darkness in others is laughable. In a sad and not funny way

Amazing how only her children were evil and his children were unharmed. Not that I wish harm on them wish it never happened period but the fact she couldn’t see past his manipulation tells you she’s just as evil if not more a greedy, selfish, waste of human being. RIP JJ, Tylee, Charles and Tammy. My heart breaks for her surviving son and Chad’s children that have to live with this over their head. Prayers

These 2 neighbors who were supposed to love Tammy so much? We're very close to Chad….That's a little puzzling but these mormons are very weird. !!If he would've been my neighbor and I was friends with? Tammy and loved her so? Much. As this woman claims to have loved her I would have never let chad in my house after Tammy's death and I certainly would have never allowed Lori Bauer to come into my house all lovey W with Chad. !

Tammy was running Relief society - Womens club .. everyone loves the one who runs relief society .. you could smoke and drink and talk smack and be still be loved within the church (not run relief ) .. .. kinda the cool things about LDS .. the people of LDS are the first ones to say they are not perfect .. feel me ??

That podcast audio was just… cringe beyond cringe. I don’t know how else to explain it. It was almost as nauseating as the audio of Chad’s “blessing” to Alex. Just a bunch of religious wackos feeding into each other’s delusions.

Just think for a minute Chad, Lori, Alex, Alex's wife and their little friends wearing dark hooded capes living by the occult calendar. Look up the occult calendar and the dates that the children died, Tammy, and importantly the day that Chad and Lori married it coincides. Too much of a coincidence. Warning: it's frightening 18+

In the first 10 trial days, I saw lots of comments in the opposing argument. Many people saying that they think the judge was favoring the state.
