Today there is an exclusive look inside Loris Karius luxury apartment in Manchester. Loris Karius is a German soccer player who currently works as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Liverpool F.C. is under contract until summer. Born in Germany, more specifically Biberach, Loris started his career at VfB Stuttgart before signing for Manchester City in 2009. After moving to Mainz 05, he has been with Liverpool F.C. since 2016. under contract. The German has also played in goal at major tournaments such as the Champions League. Our room tour starts in the kitchen or the open dining area. Loris Karius rarely uses the kitchen to cook, but rather the seating area, for breakfast and to start the day with his laptop.
He shares his flat with a friend is in central Manchester. Since they had to move in very quickly, they benefited from the fact that the apartment was almost fully furnished and they didn't have to do much themselves. The furnishing style is noble and rather minimalistic. The apartment itself impresses with its panoramic windows and the breathtaking view over Manchester.
But why does Loris live in Manchester when he plays for Liverpool? He first came to Manchester as a footballer 10 years ago. He quickly felt at home, made friends and is therefore happy to accept the 40-minute drive to training today. But in the long term Loris sees himself back in Germany at some point, mainly because of his family and friends.
Since he travels a lot as a footballer, there is little time to deal intensively with furnishing the apartment. Therefore, he first tried to devote himself to the rooms in which he spends a lot of time. Because the feel-good factor is particularly important to him there.
The fact that Loris Karius is a great fashionista is immediately apparent from his walk-in closet. This makes sneakerheads' hearts beat faster: in the middle of the room there is a floor-to-ceiling shoe rack with space for a whole collection of sneakers. Loris has a "little" shoe tick, as he reveals with a grin. He is a big fan of the open cupboard system because he can see everything at first glance without having to open large cupboards and doors or search for a long time.
He spends most of his time in the living area, watching TV or playing Playstation. Cosiness is therefore particularly important to the Premier League goalkeeper in this room. Lorius was already living with his roommate before and they both brought some furniture from their old shared apartment. Even if the furnishing style was kept rather minimalist, they try to add a personal touch with small details, such as personalized cup holders.
Soccer is Lori's job and his passion. Sport takes up most of his life. So when he gets home, he wants to be able to get away from it all. So when he's in his own four walls, football doesn't play a big role.
