Doodle cloths are just the best ! They allow free reign to experiment and are wonderful sources of reference, especially if you make notes on them with a water resistant pen! Enjoy doodling 💖

I am brand new at embroidery- but I have thought about having a doodle cloth because it’s in my nature to freestyle and everything that I do, painting photography… I find that thinking outside the box is freeing to me.

A wonderful podcast thank you Lorna, I am currently waiting for your book which I have ordered from an embroidery shop in NZ and look forward to reading it and using it. I love the projects you are going to be teaching in Australia. Doubtful that I will be going over but will look out for kits if and when they become available.

Hi Karen - thank you :-) I use a linen/cotton blend fabric manufactured for embroidery. I prefer the cotton blended with the linen as it does not crease quite as much as 100% line does.🌸

Sou portuguesa, encomendei o livro e com grande alegria minha o livro chegou, acontece que em Portugal não existem as linhas Chameleon, só DMC e não existe tabela de números de Chameleon para DMC, não sei que cores comprar, vai dar trabalho, mas adoro o livro. Obrigada

Hi Francisca. I am so pleased to hear you are happy with your book 🌸. I am in the process of giving all the DMC equivalent colours in my instructions. Give me your email address and as soon as I have finished it, I will send you a copy of them. I carry all the Chameleon threads and ship all over the world , if you wish to order some and combine them with DMC? Does that help?💖
