Lorraine Warren & James Wan, The Conjuring - Based on true events, The Conjuring follows paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga), who try to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives. The film is directed by James Wan (Saw, Insidious) and the real Lorraine Warren was on hand during the shoot to supervise and lend her first-hand expertise.
Tribute.ca spoke with Lorraine and James in San Francisco about what it was like to work on this film, how Lorraine felt about reliving this horrifying experience and why James is so good at making scary movies.

Lorraine is such a sweet soul! I truly believe in her abilities..she's been around for years and she is very serious when it comes to the paranormal. You could hear it in her voice when she talked about her museum and the house she visited in real life from the movie. She said" no you wouldn't want to go in there" "that's a very bad house very bad". Lorraine and her husband Ed went through so much in their lives and always stuck together no matter what! Now that's what I call Love and Dedication! 😊❤

She is for real as are her ghosties. I met her and know her family. They are genuine and religious people that trust the Creator for protection from the evil. You see, if you fight the demonic--they don't forget, and they will come back after you, to do you some form of harm. Elias Mansion Records the warrens have expressed that very simply those that don’t believe haven’t experienced it and aren’t educated. I recently read “the demonologist” and it is fascinating, instead of it being all “spooky and scary” it’s educational and teaches about the differences and how phenomena can occur. They where educators and saviours, never did they do this for “clout” as for decades they went Unknown in the media, Ed Warren even expressed that he does want attention because the evil has gone so long thriving on being hidden and unbelievable.

Rest In Peace to Lorraine and Ed Warren absolute heroes protectors from God they will be missed forever they helped a lot of people including me to be more open minded I’ve always been open minded but they just solidified it into a principle for me Thank you Both for all your sacrifice and bravery and thank you to all the actors and actresses especially Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga you told the story so perfectly and I can tell it’s all real by the way Loraine talks about it you cant make that look of terror she still shows when she speaks on it up you just can’t so I believe whole heartedly in God and I believe in the Devil as well and I believe that if you follow God you will be blessed and he will protect you, just put your faith in him and you will prevail ✝️🤍 also huge thank you to James wan for bringing it all together into a masterpiece of a series and he is the new horror king 👑

My grandparents lived in Monroe their entire adult lives. My dad & his brothers all grew up there too. My grandma worked at a bank either in Monroe or Stratford CT and she said she would see & talk to Lorraine every now and then. Said they had a friendship of sorts, and that her and Ed were really good people. We’re also all catholic, and believe in pretty much all of this stuff. Obviously it’s going to be dramatized for entertainment purposes but Ed & Lorraine were legit. Crazy world out there. Jesus is 👑

I'm not sure how much I believe in the supernatural, but I'm open to whatever is out there. And Lorraine definitely believes in what she's saying here. Maybe not everything was as dramatic as it was presented or reported, but something strange certainly happened to rattle the families in Amityville, Enfield, and the other cases.

I know I’m pretty late here but if you haven’t done anything yet try to seek out someone with similar abilities that has a good reputation. If they’re full of shit you’ll know right away, if you don’t then (respectfully) you wouldn’t have much of a gift to begin with. A know someone with this type of ability and they found a lot of help by meeting some people at a Spiritualist church. Good luck.

God gives the Holy Spirit : to discern things of the supernatural ( angels / holy ones and fallen ones / demons / etc). It is not the same as the spirit of divination / psychic abilities / If she is operating under divination and other means : it’s not Of God or Of the Holy Spirit !
