How petty of people. I used to stare at my blank pages and walked away without doing a thing...until you taught and shown me to cover it with underpants. Now I look at a blank page and just think "underpants" and I am not intimidated at all and I let my creative juices flow and...ta daa...I have a beautifully crafted (in my eyes) piece of created "art". I even use the thought of underpants when I start a scrapbook page. Thanks for sharing your art, creativity, ideas and descriptive vocabulary so freely with us. Keep on sharing your wonderful and God-given talent and kindness with us. I can listen to and watch you for hours on end. Lots of love.

I have been using bits of brown paper grocery bags to create my backgrounds and also to mod podge onto my art journal covers. I love the neutral colour. It also creates an interesting but subtle texture. Sometimes I layer in bits of gold or brightly coloured tissue paper that I recycle from gifts, etc. Thanks for another great vid LorriMarie. xo

Great! Yes, I need to face that blank page. You faced, now I will do the same. There really isn’t anything to fear, you can continue to layer until the cows come home, and pick it back up after milking the next day. Love you ephemera, I will just have to find my own.

That worked well and the addition of the architecture on the left was a stroke of genius. At first, I was wondering how the two would work together, until you added underpants to it, too. I love it. White pages are intimidating ... it's like wearing something white. Sure enough, you'll get something right in the front of it which won't come out. In another life, I was at the Fringe (Festival of Arts) in a new casual white dress waiting in the bar area, ready to watch a performance. A guy walks past, laughing, glass of red wine in hand and you know where that ended up - right down the centre of my blank canvas! Needless to say, I don't think I've ever worn white again. LOL. Tfs

Lorrie Marie, When altering a book should I leave a stub of paper where I have torn out the page? That advice was given in another tutorial. In your tutorial, you removed only 30 pages. What if I wanted to remove more? How else can I remove pages and still maintain the integrity of the book? I hope I have made sense. Thank you very much!!! Could I also get a copy of your envelope? I would really appreciate it! Your tutorials and mixed media is fantastic as well as refreshing.
