I’m not one for lengthy chats. I think you have just the right balance of teaching, demonstrating and friendly chatting. Love the fabric journal and the pages you have shown us.

Sometimes I like to "watch the paint dry" so I can see an artist's technique. Sometimes I hit 2x because my attention span is short. I like every video you make, and I don't mind if they are heavily edited or left in their entirety. Your instruction is always spot on!

I can watch and listen hours and hours of you talking, explaining and playing on the table. Don't you worry, whatever direction your channel is evolving I know it's gonna be exciting and full of creativity, so... let yourself go!! 😁

Totally appreciate and enjoy watching the process and technique. I'm not a fan of some artists tendency to just show the results of what they've done. How else can us beginners learn. So watching you work and listening to you explain what you're doing is the ultimate experience. Keep on doing what you're doing.

I love the sound of your teaching voice. It has got me through a very rough time in my life, of losing my son at the age of 31 to a massive heart attack due to alcohol abuse. He was a brilliant man, a savant. He wrote Russian spy novels, and sat home drinking all day writing books. It is a kinship we have of losing someone close, and something I will never let go of. I want to thank you for that very moment I found you on utube, my life and grief changed forever. You actually saved my sanity, and respect, and for that I will always be grateful.

Everything you do is fun and it's great to listen when you tell because you have such a nice dialect and calm tone. Well, I myself do not have to watch when things dry up. Then it is better to see what fun things are created on the table

Hi I don't usually comment, but wanted to say that I understand that it is important to put up content that people want to see so that your channel is viewed and liked, but ultimately you should do what you want. People will come and go and their preferences will change over time, but you are a lovely person and create beautiful works of art. I'm sure many people are saying this, but people can fast forward or re-watch sections of videos if they want to so I guess what I am saying is do what makes you smile. This was a pretty intense page. I do like step-by-step processes, but also moving forward. If I questions, you are always so gracious to respond. I am learning with each and every video. The format is yours to determine.

Lol, one of the things that make me happiest, is the making of something out of nothing...things that are meant to be tossed out at the end of their original purpose, and given new life!!! Is there anything better?? Oh yeah, probably, but it's right up there around the top of the list!!! ... Btw, you have inspired me so much, in using drop cloth's to make so many beautiful things that I now plan to buy a couple of drop cloth's just for that purpose!!! So thanks for that!!! I like it when you explain in detail, in some videos there is no possibility to insert automatic translation (like in this video) and watching carefully is a great help for those who are not American like me. I think you have always done a great job of showing your process without showing the same thing for too long. Ex; putting on underpants, you show how its done but we don't watch you doing 1/2 hours worth of gluing. You are very relaxing to watch and I always enjoy the time spent on your videos. Hope that helps. I watch hundreds of videos and you are one of the few I don't speed up, even before you started shortening your videos. Hope that helps.

I love the videos as they are. I find some people's impossible to watch. I hate really long ones as I have to fast forward. I hate background music that drowns out the person talking. I especially hate when I search for ideas & it throws up a couple. I excitedly settle down to watch technique, only to discover it's just a show & tell, with no instruction. To me, your editing is perfect. If you are repeating a process, you only show once. You talk about what you are doing without constant ums, ers with background rummaging looking for product ( which is common on voice overs when the person can't remember what they used) You stay, just you. I find the length of your videos perfect 🥰 I watch others that do no editing but usually on high speed because there's too much time watching paint dry. I will say, I cannot and do not watch and craft at the same time. I can't split my attention like that. I can mindless things like punch out die cuts or wrap thread onto cards. I love the grungyness of this page. It's just delightful. And the random loose threads are 🥰 I will watch you what ever you choose... but lady, don't change if you don't want to!

I think the most important thing is for the creator of the video to enjoy what they are putting out as content. I enjoy some of your older videos were there is a lot of chit chat cause it’s like an art a long vs a tutorial. I get my stuff out and there is time for me to play with you - other times I like the quick videos showing a technique. Maybe if both styles makes you happy you can do a mix.

The whole reason one channel is more successful than another, is because of personality and algorithms. People tune in to get instruction but they won't keep coming back if they don't like the host. I love the chit-chat and I like videos of all lengths. I think I'm like Gandalf when I say the videos are precisely as long as they need to be. :-) You're doing art-alongs and sometimes a walk-through, not just saying "this is what I did." And I won't even watch videos with no talking. If it's silent or it has music, I'm on to the next video. You should think of your channel as selling a brand. Like those cooking shows. All sorts of people can make a pot of beans but who do I want to watch cook? Lol. I am not comparing you to a pot of beans, I swear. I think you get what I'm trying to say, that the host and her personality is as important as the content. The only time I've ever hit fast forward on one of your videos is maybe after I've watched them for the sixth time. 😅

I was just wondering what was on the other side of the page you are working on, and do you take into consideration that content when you are tying the cards on. As you know I love your videos and hate that my life has gotten so hectic these last few months. That being said, I love your vocal instruction while you are filming but my time has become much more limited, so fast forwarding through the drying time or editing it out helps me be able to take the time to watch. Thanks as always for your generous sharing and know you are always in my heart.
