I lost my son 3 years ago in Jan. My husband passed March 27th. The grieving just takes a hold of your life. I'm so sorry for your loss.. know that I care.

oh my gosh pam....i am so very sorry.....and you know that comes from deep in my heart! i cannot imagine losing my husband! i lost my son Casey years ago...and now Cameron...i feel into deep sorrow and relied so much on 'our village' here for support....and art....art, art, art! if there is something that i can do for you....please let me know...my heart is elastic and can stretch all the way to you!!!!

It shows what a loving heart you have to feel Alexa's pain in Cameron's passing. I found you holding her in your lap was perhaps figuratively you receiving comfort while giving comfort to Alexa. So often you speak about caring for others and being kind. I cannot say it enough that I am sorry for your loss but still words don't seem to be enough. Continuing prayers for your comfort in this time. We love you oodles.

thank you claudia....i was making my dad's bed this morning thinking how 'good' i am feeling...and is it okay to feel good? the grief....the deep sorrow seems to have lifted....with the help of so many...(the villagers right here have carried so much of my pain....)....so thank you for praying for my comfort.....that is the word! comfort....i feel comfort today...namaste claudia...and....see you on the table!

@@lorrimarie2002 Yes by all means give yourself permission for all of the feelings! This is an ebb and flow process. Today marks a time in my husband passing. I have the Hospice materials to read about grief. I had related to the case worker how connected my husband and I were. I told her how he used to come in dreams while he was in the nursing home but now I FEEL him right here with me. I know he is. She said she would send materials about that feeling. I will read it in good faith. Just hope it doesn't say I am a crazy old lady! I love you LorriMarie. You have provided so many of us more than you will ever know. God Bless you.😘

She is beautiful and beautifully sad. Much love to you and your family. My experience with clay tells me that the clay shrank a small bit and the styrofoam form did not allow for the shrinkage. Thank you for the inspiration. ♥️

well lorraine....the styrofoam egg was pretty much melted....lol...but the clay had hardened first...phew....thank you for the tip tho....i may use something else next time...or not...lol....you caught me in the garden with my dad in the shade on my computer! see you on the table lorraine!

LorriMarie Jenkins please never stop. You reach so many people. More than you can imagine. You are a light a very bright light at that. I wear a mask everyday all day for up to 12 hours a day. It’s a sad thing here still. The covid floor is a sad place. I feel for our patients and families. They have set up a support for all our health care workers now. Due to the physical stress and emotional stress. I don’t shop at all I eat from work. I work every day right now. I can’t wait to see my grandchildren and kids. It’s been since March. But I will not put them at risk. I am auto immune compromised. Due to my RA. And medication. My dr has sent a letter to my employer about my condition and how high risk I am. But I would never leave my patients. Not now. Not ever. I took an oath and right is right no matter how you look at it. I have faith and God will take care. As long as I take care. Trust lorrie. Isn’t not to much. I can’t wait for Monday’s and Thursday’s. I find so much joy and comfort in being on the table with you. You are a life line. Hugs and you stay safe. 🙏😊❤️xxx

I love this project, even though it is a very poignant one. I must use up some of the sculpy Ive purchased, so will give this a try. She looks like me when I get up in a morning. She looks like me when I got to bed at night!! Im glad your artistic flare is helping you through these darker times. I worked with Sculpy a long time ago and made a doll using the egg for the structure to build the head. I still love working in clay. Probably my most favorite medium however, the universe is messing with me as of late and my hands are hurting more than I would like. The one thing that I learned when my hands started to give me trouble was to warm a towel and lay my Sculpy in between the layers to soften it. It helps a lot just don't get it too hot or your clay will begin to bake. When I would work with several colors I would put the pieces in snack baggies and fill a small bowl with warm water. You probably already do this but if you don't and your hands hurt it will help.

Love that face! I won't use rice to stuff or weight things anymore. I had little tiny hard shelled oval bugs invade my rice stuffed item. I couldn't for the life of me figure out where these little things were coming from until I picked it up one day! I will use sand or rocks to fill or weight an item but never a food product again. Just sharing my nightmare in hopes to prevent someone else going thru that.

yikes....go thing to know about ann.....where do you live...my mother was from the south and she insisted that everything was in plastic containers because they had weevils...i will keep a close eye on my girls!!! see you on the table ann....

@@lorrimarie2002 south east Texas on the Gulf shore. Everything like flour, cormeal, oats, dry beans and rice etc., gets put in the freezer to kill anything before going into a container when I need it. Tupperware and ziploc bags are a must have in my house. Had weevils once in my pantry, omg they were in everything! Now these things I just battled, I've seen them in alpo dog biscuits before and my peppermint tea bags only. Even the puppy treats are kept in airtight containers. I don't chance it anymore, I refuse to share my home and groceries with free loading buggies. Be sweet and keep creating your beautiful things! Love hugs...

Hello again Finished watching your video Just mentioning, I use tin foil and make a hard ball and then I put the clay over top I also use terracotta clay that air dries and it really turns out great!!!!!!

i think it is a bit early to tell alexa that...she is still grieving pretty deeply kathie....but i will tell her that when the time comes...she and cameron were truly soul mates...it is hard to witness her loss....see you on the table kathie!

@@lorrimarie2002 I have been there with my own daughter. And yes it breaks our heart to see them hurt. But she comes from good stock Mom she will bounce back and be stronger than ever. Or he will smarten up and be back.
