Aye up Chris that Scammell of joes with the gearbox air leak. That valve is called a Austin Beech Valve fitted to the Eaton twin spilt box. We used to replace them a lot when I worked for ERF and you couldn’t split the gears. If you change it watch out for the 3/16 olives on the pipes. Love the videos as always mate keep up the struggle whoop whoop

As an auto shop owner for regular cars I think that parts without grease fittings last longer. Either people over grease or dont grease ones with fittings. If it doesnt have fittign ya cant do either. I do think heavy duty trucks should have em though.

Years ago My driveshaft came off the transmission side swung around and split the transmission case in half. I was absolutely gutted.
