Not only this but Ashok Leyland had also in the past made joint collaborations with Hino of Japan & Iveco of Italy. This is an ultimate Indian company which can give a cut throat competition to other foreign truck companies such as Volvo, Man, Daewoo. N.B. Here i am not comparing Chinese truck companies as they r the best in class (🤣😂😁😀).

The problem is because of the golti car driver. In hill roads priority must be given to up coming vehicles ,that is the rule.

I can't blame the car driver. Those trees in-between the bend are obscuring vision, creating a blind spot. Obviously even if you were cooperative enough to give right of way to up coming vehicle, you first need to detect its presence. If it appears suddenly when you least expected it, it's going to be a problem.

But that's what he did , the car driver , he went extreme left and stopped his car . How was he to know that the truck climbing is so underpowered or overloaded that it will come right on to the right flank of the road .

As per rule, in the ghats vehicles moving upwards be given preference to move ahead and NOT the other vehicles coming down go first

It appears the truck is overloaded hence the problem. Now govt is very strict about the penalty for overloading, as much as 20000 to 99000 for every violation.

These fancy car drivers don't know jack squat bout rules while driving on hilly terrain. The lorry driver sounded the horn while approaching the bend. The car should have stop immediately and backed up and let the lorry pass. 1/4 of the curve is off road 😭.

Poor road width. A small round tar road strip, will increase the width of the road. This will help to reduce the accident. I don't know; Are state/district government engineers visiting these areas or not?

Most of the trucks are overloaded with very poor engine pull capacity. This would not have happened if they had not over loaded the truck.
