He has great potential. He is what they call a "project player." He is in need of therapy, so the Clippers will need some patience in developing him slowly and carefully. It would be a big mistake to throw him into high pressure situations too soon, or to expect too much from him too soon. If the therapy works, and he learns to concentrate on his work and developing his game, he has the chance to become a really great player. The talent is there.

I did a major scouting job in the comments since he left charlotte, as a clippers fan I can see the potential cause he have size and energy. 1 year maybe not enough for him to develop nba level but let’s see.

Boy he was ROUGH in Charlotte... skills have a LONG ways to go, he needs a LOT of oversight to keep his mind right, I wish him the best, but gosh he was a trainwreck in Charlotte and was unplayable most of the time. He's athletic, but so dern raw. Might take years, if anyone will give him that kind of time to develop into even a rotation piece just based on how it went here.

Dário saric for the clippers now. Cheap back up center and Kai jones can help him protect the rim in. Both can space the floor so in a 5-out bench lineup Kai jones and saric as the bigs.

He started basketball at 16. So it's gonna take extra time for his ball IQ to catch up with his athleticism. Also, y'all will need to keep him the hell away from weed or any other drug cocktail as if ya life depends on it. And if he starts coloring his hair shock blue or some other crazy color then that is your red flag to have him drug tested. He stays clean and I believe in anout two years his game will begin to blossom.

@@TheKennyGM It was a second year team option, but they declined his team option before free agency to create more room. Now they’re resigning him to a more team friendly non-guaranteed deal.
