Great video you made here. I hike up this a lot myself and I even carried my professional camera and tripod up there and took a 1,300 stitched panoramic picture. It's very relaxing and more quite. You have a great voice and presence for videos, keep up the good work...

3:00...The west side trail in center frame, that forks off the fire road is a greater workout - steeper and higher.

Runyon was the best place to run. Just slightly dangerous, it was seriously steep, like the rock face you climb up then down to the left of RC. Get ready for a run worth while with that beautiful LA view.

When I lived in LA in the late 90s, Runyon seemed to be a relativley well-kept secret. Apparently, nowadays, it's where all the beautiful people go to be seen

Runyon is THE place to see and be seen these days. Really popular for bootcamps, yoga, and dog owners. But, at it's core Runyon is still a great local hike.

Edward, thanks for the comment and yes these metal parts are still there. Most people walk past them. On your way up the East Ridge towards about half way to the second bench you will see it on the right hand side. Look carefully because it is a bit over grown.

the entrance/exit where he stepped out of the trail in the end of the video. what street is that? Google maps gives me such a dumb route way to get there and it seems tedious.

Hannah Cimorelli Haha yea! My dream is still LA! Hopefully in 2016! But those snakes, spiders and coyotes they have in LA scares me like a baby, since where I live we don't have to fear anything...! We might have some harmless spiders in our house - but that's it haha and i'm scared of those aswell hahahaha

ZaynOG My dream was always LA haha:D I'm form NJ we don't have stuff like that there. But i moved to LA last summer with my 3 friends to pursue my dreams so good luck with that haha this is my personal acc. I have another account with 600k subs lol that's what i did in LA so again, good luck!
