That looks like a place you could park your RV and live there your entire life. Every time you look out the window, all the A380s are at waving you! My goodness I'd love to visit LAX one day :)

Canadian Plane Spotter you have to!! Plane spotting there is welcomed and encouraged. They even have benches and mounted binoculars facing the runway!

Canadian Plane Spotter I think this was one of the only places that DIDNT charge! The whole time I was in LA, I was frustrated I didn't carry change on me!

I'm 11 or so miles almost directly due east of LAX. Sometimes ATC has them cross the coast to the south, parallel the 605 Fwy. then make a left turn overhead from 3,500 - 4,500 ft. Except this Kalitta character comes by at 3,000ft. regularly. One time at 10:30PM buzzed me at 2,500 ft.! Thought he might land on the "Love Shack". Can tell a 747 just from the sound and the slower speed.Early AM all the Qantas flight come in A380's 747's sometimes 3 within 20 mins.Watching them make that bank turn is a sight to see. For some reason about a month ago some takeoffs were to the east. Heard this roar and rumble for close to a minute at 1:15AM. An outbound 747-400 about 5,000ft on takeoff. WOW!

Looks as if the Air France 777 and A380 are sniffing each other at 13:40 like a couple of dogs. Looks as if the A380 is wagging its tail, pleased to see its friend.

Hey Dan ... You caught a good afternoon for photoing at LAX. Nice lighting on the Kalitta 747 departure. FYI - you were fortunate enough to catch the Emirates A380 departing off 25L. That particular time of day departure is a flip of the coin - sometimes north; sometimes south. The awesome time was when 24L was closed for construction, so all A380 flights departed from 25L. For some nice A380 afternoon departures (BAW, LUF, AF) you might consider the view atop Sea View drive. Can get some good all cleaned up images from there. Cheers. T

Hi Dantorp, just want to ask a question, I recently purchased the Panasonic HC-V770, and my only concern of use is the 20x optical zoom. However it also comes with 50x i zoom as you know. Do you think the i zoom is of good quality, and did you use it to any extent in this or other videos so I can get an idea of it Thanks mate, and love your videos as always
