I love how much Lu grew in the last season but I also love Guzman. That scene between them at the san valentin’s party in which Guzman offers Lu to dance and when she declines, instead of getting mad he just /understands/, smiles at her and makes a toast for both of them was so pure and it truly showed they love and respect each other.

People demonize Lu, but I really love her and I feel super bad for her. What she did to Nadia was not ok (the sex tape) but I understand her, she always gives everything to the people she loves and they always underestimate her and think she is a bad person. She is not.

I think that Lu truly was in love with Guzman, but I don't think he loved her the way she wanted. I think that Guzman was just scared of losing everyone who he cared for, like Marina. It was easy and familiar to always come back to Lu since he knew she'd always be there. He took her for granted. Lu definitely knew deep inside that he didn't feel the same way she did but was in denial. And in season 3 when Lu rejected him for the first time, i think it was a huge relief for her, and a wake up call to Guzman to start letting go. He did love and care for her, just not enough and she finally realized that

I think I understand her more now, she wanted to be loved by someone in the first and second season, but in the third season realized that someone can’t love u if you don’t love yourself.... I love lu she is simple but complexed.

Lu was so changed and amazing in this season 3. she always was dependent on Gusman, like she said: "we'll always be Lu and Gusmán, no matter what". about that, i was so proud of her when she finally realizes that she's better alone e don't need anyone to be happy and to do anything she wants. even because she's a very strong woman, and pretty, intelligent and capable. I really didn't like Lu and Guzman much at first but they both had so much character development throughout the story and went on to become two of my favourite characters of the show
