I bought the DBXLe and shelved it because it was a little stale, I just started ordering parts to convert it to 12s so I can get some use out of it.

Here is a little back story. Out of the box this thing wouldnt go forward any faster than about 15mph and reverse even slower?!?!?!? Turning left was fine turning right only quarter-turn!?!??! I was so mad I ripped out the servo, esc everything. I even took apart the servo. Only to realize that I had a DOA receiver. Mind you this is hours after trying to recalibrate and rebinding thinking I did something wrong!!! Anyways I am so impressed with the truck with the tire upgrade it kinda made up for all my trouble and frustrations.

How do I mod the Proline MX43 Badlands to fit the Red cat Rampage MT V3 MONSTER TRUCK PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE TIRES AND WHEELS THAT REDCAT uses are too heavy and need to be smaller the weight of the stock wheels that Redcat uses weight 10 LBS for the four of them they are destroying my trucks drive train each tire weights 2.50 lbs each for a total of 10 LBS. thank you and keepup the great work nice channel Best regards, Kevin.

You got the right idea but with a drill press it's more accurate I just did it like an hour ago

Your videos are awesome buddy I subbed to you awhile ago. I just started making my videos but I'm not as experienced as you...I've been looking for different options for tires for my dbxl-e and gave up cause not much for options. But I love your idea. My major problem I'm not sure how to fix is my steering. It takes me half a field just to turn around I'm not sure what to do. I was going to drop dual savox servos into it but I'm not sure that's the new issue. I ran into a fence now and at stand still it barely turns wheels turns left but not right it just jitters like have a seazure lol...do you know what I should try brother? I don't want to bring it to the hobby shop they charge $60CAN per hour. I even just picked up the Erevo 2.0 and I want to put in a 20p or 21p with a 46 spur but by the looks of it the manual and people's videos everyone is complain you need that ratio to hit 70mph but instaructions must be a spell error cause it doesn't show the fixed spacing point for 20/46 and that's it's main setting to hit 70 mph....so I have the p+s waiting to do in I'm just not sure what to follow. Do you have the new Erevo? Anyways sorry for my frustrations I'm at my ends lol...if your busy I understand or maybe you could refer or direct me to the right person to talk to... Thanks eitherway for your time😁 Ian

Losi DBXL-E hello friend thank you so much for watching my videos and thank you for subscribing I seriously you from the bottom of my heart I appreciate it for the dbxl steering issue I would strongly recommend getting a better higher quality Spectrum radio system because the stock radio system does not put out enough steering throw for the steering to steer the wheel sharply for example when I bought my Losi dbxl e I have it binded to my Spektrum dx6r Pro radio and the steering issue was fixed with the stock steering servo the stock steering so it was a great steering servo if you get the speed control to run at 7.4 volts to b e c it'll steer the wheels just perfectly fine so I strongly recommend getting a better radio system it should fix the problem also with the E-Revo 2.0 that's really high gear ratio to run so if you do get that high you'll have to manually adjust the gear MessYourself which isn't a big deal just take that little plastic cover out that has the three holes in it and then is to just at yourself like the original e revo but keep in mind with that gearing that high I would strongly not recommend driving it off-road that's too high during a lot of people on KZfaq in my opinion when they give the high and they try to take it off road jumping and stuff are wrong they should not do that they're putting a bad name out in my opinion for that truck has you're overloading the stock Electronics they can't handle that much gearing so just letting you know thank you again for watching my videos I do really appreciate it very much I'm honored to have you subscribe to my channel please let me know if there's anything I can help you with

Alex rc freak hey brother....so funny cause I just sold my dx6r to buy other things cause I was only using it for my losi and the steering was amazing. I assumed it would help in many other issues so I'm back on the market looking for a used one if you know anyone lol. So my plan for losi is servox service(2 I think yet hobby store says never to do) and find another dx6r lol...I'll figure out the Erevo 2.0 situation i thank you for all your advice it will be the deciding factor to get another 6r yet j sold mine about 2 weeks ago lolol...kick my self in the ass now!!! Thanks again brother...sub to me and check my videos I'm just started few weeks back. thanks for the info my friend feel free to give me more lol...I also have nerro big rock 1/8 and Erevo 1/16

I'm thinking about doing this on my DBLX-E due to driving on grass most of the time. How do you like these tires compared to the originals and if you were to do it over would you do it again or stick with the originals?

Hey brother the hole for size to get step drill Is 19mm ? Exact and just trim excess correct !? Thanks

I already broke my first plastic tire on my DBXL-E, what a piece of crap, my biggest jump was about a foot high. Anyways, can you please tell me what number of the lord fusor glue you recommend? I see online that there's several different types. Also that thing is expensive! I would like to buy what I'm going to use, how much of it did you use? Thank you!

Does the mx43 set up rub on the suspension arms or the body of the DBXL-E?
@alexperea204 жыл бұрын
No they fit perfectly AFTER you drill out the center hole to 19mm or 3/4
@Blueknight19603 жыл бұрын
@@alexperea20 I guess I'm going to have to measure but I heard the hole needed to be 18mm.

Your not kidding those stock losi dbxl e 2.0 wheels suck !!! They don't just break they explode!!! Ive gone through 3 wheels and I don't even beat on it or jump it . Not to mention the cheap ass metal hex screws that strip almost instantly . I had to replace every screw with stainless steel ones that have a deeper head . I'm hoping someone will come out with some better after market options?
