Nuzlocke is back on the menu! This time I've decided to make it even more challenging by playing Pokémon Platinum which is a much lengthier game than the last and since that's still too easy for me, CDawgVA, I'm also going to be gifting chat 20 subs AKA $100, every time I lose a Pokémon!
This was an insane journey that took around 18 hours of pure sweat and tears so I'd appreciate if you'd hit that like button like my future Pokémon career depended on it!

Graveler wasn't using Self-Destruct, it was using BITE ZA DUSTO and resetting the timeline. Fortunately Connor was able to defeat it before it finished it's evil plans.

@@Hai43561 yeah because in a Nuzlocke if the pokemon faints, it dies forever. He basically threw out it being a Nuzlocke once he reset the first time. If he'd have switched Onyx out against ice ever, this likely wouldn't have happened.

I used to have a 5-hour energy everyday when I was in middle school. Waking up before dawn is sadistic, especially when you could just be at school 9-5 instead of 8-4 and then your parents wouldn't have to leave work early to pick you up most normal jobs, I truly believe they were just trying to inconvenience absolutely everyone.

I tried to do a nuzlocke once and I did exactly this, I didn't want to have to lose anything especially cause I went pretty far before my first death so I just reset to earlier saves, and eventually I just made it into a normal playthrough.

No gen 4 is the hardest as it has the highest crit rate and one of the hardest games to grind up as well making it hell at it has in my opinion the most run killing battles out of all of the games

@@milonchello1643 yeah but the bullshit crit rate in gen 4 games make it the hardest to play at the most difficult way to play Pokémon aka nuzlocks as it’s so easy to be hit by crits hence why some people call it the hardest game and Cynthia the hardest champion as the amount of crits In gen 4 is much higher then other games at least in gen 5 you can just grind more to level up but in gen 4 no matter what you do you can’t lower the ridiculous crit rate which is why so many people think gen 4 is the hardest generation as all the other gens have lower crit rates hence your less likely to die and you can lower stats if opposing Pokémon and breathe a sign of relief however in gen 4 you can easily just get crit killed which not only makes moves stronger but also ignores stat changes so if your the type of player who likes to play it safe with lowering opponents stats gen 4 is your worst nightmare

200 hours isn't much, unless you haven't replayed the VN. I have 300 hours in HOI4 and CIV5. 1200 hours in another game. However some LOL players have like 5000 hours or more.

There must exist one already, go sturdy, have a weakness policy, max speed max attack, run explosion, stealth rock, maybe rock blast to try and break sashes and another move for coverage or rapid spin, if graveler even gets it, for hazard removal and speed control. If you know the enemy isnt a setup lead or an ok boomer/final gambit lead you get rocks off then go boom on them.

@@milonchello1643 checked smogon that time, I haven't seen a specific graveler on any format. I've seen Cloyster setups with Explosion, trumps all stats on graveler, maybe Graveler Eviolite? But your idea seems plausible with weakness policy. Maybe Trick Room setup and 0 IV/EV speed graveler.

@@kingguy3 suicide lead doesnt need trick room the problem is that you either predict theyr hazard setup or you may waste an oportunity to break future sashes or confirm heavy dutty boots on something like zard or volcarona

@@kingguy3 That's where you just press eq since you know that a pokemon with damp will most definetly hit you with a super effective move, so they eat a +2 stab eq from a graveler which should be able to either one shot it (mostly Golduck, but this one normaly just runs cloud nine or swift swin to either counter weather or abuse it), or do like half to the rest of them , but i dont see a scenario where anyone would use damp over the other more usefull abilities those pokemon have, most of them have Water Absorb or Swift Swim or in case of Jellycent it gets Cursed body instead or Swampert which gets nothing else besides Torrent.

Yeah, won't be too good bcs he doesn't really remember most of pokemon's types and its matchings. Proof: sending dragon/ground to fight ice, fighting rock/steel with fire instead of 4x effective fighting
