I think I get it now, the reason behind the Kaiju choosing Kafka as its host is because only certain people can use the full Kaiju power. The Kaiju use people for their intelligence and a way to blend in, so they can strategize and win in the war against humanity. If you think about it, it makes perfect sense since nobody else but director Shinzomiya could utilize weapon #2.

As you saw when Kaiju #8 used his body as a decoy, literally nothing outside of the core matters. Kafka's "human body" and Kaiju #8 form are both just generated by the core. This means that his physical size can be altered with no issue. Miiko was Mina's cat that died in a kaiju attack. Their home town was destroyed in one when they were young, thus them wanting to hunt kaiju.

And to add to them not possibly being able to make a weapon/suit using kaiju no 8, say they are able to. It would be as powerful as the no 2 weapons and suit. And the general is the only one who can use that weapon due to how powerful it is. So the weapon and suit would just sit in storage for a long time while they hope to find a compatible user for it

Yes, you'd be right. The JP word for "everyone" has a longer 'n' sound. It's like "min-na." And I think Director Isao Shinomiya feels a little bit like Endeavor. He was pushing Kikoru too much and he was too harsh. But it's not that he doesn't care enough to listen. Especially when Kikoru gathered the courage to stand up to him to try and convince him that Kafka's a good guy. Anyways, I'm excited for S2.

I saw where they took a blood sample from him, but I have to say, I would go to that board meeting and ask, "Okay, before we decide to kill him or not, have we taken blood samples from the parents and ascertained when he became kaiju? Does he know anything about how they work?" And when they all stare at me like cows at the on coming train, I will flat out tell them, "If all you guys are good for is hitting things, step down from any position that requires you to think."

I havnt seen a single person disliking Kaiju #8 and Im frankly not surprised, Said it before but S1 is a 10/10 for me, It would need flaws to bring it down but I struggle to find any, Like the one n only flaw I think I could mention is how often everyone says his full freakin name like 90% of time lol, And thats not even a flaw more so just a minor goofy nitpick lol, Story, Great, Comedy, Great, Action, Great, Animation, Great, Characters, Great, Progression and Pace, Great, I just loved everything about it… Not going to argue it over any other Anime but to me it was flawless and 100% cant wait for S2 and knowing whats to come its not slowing down anytime soon and at end of the day its just one of those series I pray never ends…

Can’t forget solo leveling, but that one is not quite as strong contender for anime of the year, it doesn’t quite have the heart, doesn’t mean that I haven’t seen it multiple times though.

11:06 The channel I watched carried a different translation and it is 100% better than this crap. Where did you watch this version? Good observation with the "mina". It did not even occur to me that the Director could misunderstood what Kafka said. The "mina" for "everybody" has a longer "n" sound since it is read as "min-na". Since Kafka was half asleep, the Director probably think he meant "minna" instead of "Mina".
