I'm 72 and I have been around aviation all my life. Sadly death is part of aviation. Best thing to do is try to learn from their errors and keep going. Also do your best to educate others. sadly an other part is people just don't listen! Hang in there!

I lost my best friend just before Christmas and it's terrible mine was close just like you are talking about for 30 years I had a brother just like you talk about your friend. Sullivan sounds like family to you eventhough you weren't blood. Hold on to the memories and hang in there.

I understand, I have lost several friends in aviation. It is sad and emotional, and I miss all of them. If I ever get to fly my Kitfox 2 , I will think of them as we fly.

Lovely tribute to who really sounds like an amazing guy. On an aviation safety related story. Where can I go hear his story. What happened? I am very sorry for your loss

@@gregorytaylorbowman4661 the final report was just finalized, N3835U. The reason for his passing is infuriating. Mechanic didn’t do his job right.
