I can't even imagine how disappointed Clary felt when Jocelyn returned to her only to tell her not to use her powers ever again, which were the only thing she believed she could never lose. She probably also felt angry. Clary is so strong, seriously.

I cried when Jonathan died. When Clary killed him. When he pleaded for her to let him go. She cried too. Showed that she has a pure heart.

This is so beautiful! After all this time I still sobbed my heart out for the unfairness of it all. She prevented Shadowhunters from being annihilated and she still got punished because, in my opinion, she became the strongest Shadowhunter ever and she was not afraid to call on the Angels. They did not have control over her and she would have changed the whole game. You have to admire Jace for keeping his faith after such a massive betrayal. We were so robbed not getting a season 4.

They all got their happy ending apart from Jace, he suffered more than any of them. Even Clary sort of has a happy ending because she knows no different, she goes back to school and carrys on with her life. Where Jace is stuck living a life without the one person he loves most in the world, he can't and won't move on because she's the reason his heart beats, the other half of him. From his childhood with Valentine, being sent away after thinking he was an orphan, to falling in love, then still loving who he thought was his sister, watching her move on with Simon , Valentine killing him, dying and becoming the owl, killing people on behalf of lillith, killing his only living blood relative, thinking Clary has died and he was responsible, finding her and then loosing her all over again. The writers ruined it but thank the Angel for the books and knowing he's finally happy with the woman he was always supposed to be with.

When I saw the title, I screamed and went to fetch some tissues. Let me tell you, it was a wise decision. This is perfect. Absolutely perfect.

despite being quite different from the books and on a budget for the visual effects, i still think that shadowhunters, sometimes cheesy and rushed, still gave a lot of justice to cassie's story; the actors truly embodied the characters and i miss the show very much!
