Can't say it's better than the original, but these 3 brothers take the song to a new height!! And not to forget Richie Valenz died in the same crash with Buddy Holly.

The song is a traditional Mexican song from the state of Veracruz. Ritchie Valens put a more rock and modernized twist (modern from his times) still a great cover from Los lonely boys

wow I never thought I love a cover song which was originally sang by Los Lobos! Love this one! used to have this song on a small record and play it all the time as a kid! ( im not Spanish) but this song made me so happy! I learnt to sing it off by heart lol!

Love these guys! I wish the radio stations would play more of your wonderful creations. U guys keep on keeping on because one day you'll be a lot bigger than u r now. I'm usually right about these things! I'm an old lady, but if I was about 40 years younger I would be chasing u guys all over the place. LOL! Great job, love u guys!

See those poor bastards up in front of the stage w/o earplugs. Welcome to tinnitus. I developed it after my wife just HAD to be up front center at the Fillmore in Denver, circa 2008 or 9. Great show. Killed the high frequency in my left ear and one concert left me with lifelong torture... tinnitus. Protect your hearing folks. Tinnitus really does suck.

It wasn't written by Ritchie Valens, what he did is to take a very old Mexican song and comverted it in rock style

Travelin' Ted they’re singing about a mexican (or spanish) dance and they’re saying that it takes a bit of grace(?) to dance La Bamba😂 for you, for me, come on (para me, para ti, ayy arriba) The message is really nice and the backstory even better
