My family lived in Lossiemouth from 1992-1999, however I went to Edinburgh to study in '94 and only came back to Lossie for the holidays. We lived in Hopeman from 1989-1992 prior to moving to Lossiemouth. We moved up there from England. I am not a native of the area, although my mum was brought up in Hopeman before leaving home. I have an aunt and cousin there, and have returned to the area occasionally to visit them, and once for the high school reunion. I moved to Perth 2 years ago after leaving Edinburgh. For a while I preferred big city life. Lossiemouth is very scenic, there's no doubt about that, but I find it too quiet. I like Edinburgh to visit and have a lot of friends there, but currently benefitting from Perth being a happy medium between Lossiemouth and Elgin in terms of pace of life.

I went into 'The Harbour Lights cafe' last week if that counts - Lossiemouth was quiet, free parking and a great beach - that's the sort of place we like to visit.

We lived in Lossiemouth years ago. Stunning beaches and a lovely quiet, friendly place. I especially remember a shop on the corner of the square called MARTINS - FOR ANYTHING ELECTRICAL. It was a wool shop! There seem to be a lot more restaurants there now. The pet shop down by the harbour was nice. The owner would order his tropical fish from Inverness and they'd put them on the bus for him. The vet's was very handy. I remember sitting in the waiting room with my dog. The door was open, and a passing dog popped in, cocked his leg on the magazine table, then went on his way. A nice trip down memory lane. Thanks.

I didn’t quite get up to Lossiemouth. I got as far as the Glen Grant Distillery to the east of Inverness. I really wanted to get up to Lossie, to see the castle and the town. Maybe I will lodge there on my next trip. Thank you for the nice walk around town

David Kelly from, Northampton again. Just watched your Elgin tour. I like to watch the fast jets fly by the golf course from the pub with a pint and my air band radio. Great job again, better than the professional's hwo never venture of the betain track. Who needs them when we have, the likes of you👏👍😸.

You walk past my home at a certain point although I won't say exactly when. Yes, Lossie is a lovely place to live. The only minor criticism is the loud jets flying over, occasionally (with the RAF base being close by). But you almost get used to it.

I lived in Lossiemouth in the 1990's. Both of my children were born in nearby Elgin. I really enjoyed seeing the area again as I left around 1998/9. It looks like it has a lot more shops and restaurants now. The harbour area is completely redeveloped from what I remember. The studio opposite the library was once the post office? The pace of life was a lot calmer than down here in the south west of England. I used to get a culture shock every time we travelled home to see family! A beautiful place. I hope to visit again some day. As for the planes - I used to enjoy them flying in and out of the base. They are a bit noisy if you're trying to have a conversation when they're passing by - so there were many 'paused' conversations with my friends! Thanks for the video.
