The moment at 2:31 perfectly summarizes Jack's dealings with the others throughout the entire show🤣🤣
@TheAngous4 күн бұрын
That scene sum up the whole show. The survivors are here to stay, to let go their life behind and accept that they won't have children, they won't have a good life, they won't have many stuff like they wanted. They want to go back to fix things, to fix their lifes, their flashbacks. Jacob wants someone to STAY to leave this life behind. To pass through the grief, the loss... The Monster torment them, he's the synthetisis of "the past" , "what's dead", the side of "leaving the island " like MIB wanted so much. "just give me the phone jack" = "just let go" This is a show about grief, loss, and how it's so hard to move on, to continue. It's a show telling us that it's okay if we feel it's hard.

I love that in the end Jack was a bit the bad guy, cause he just wanted to be the alpha who would save and cure everyone, not listening to Ben who for once wasnt lying lol
@FurryWulfz Жыл бұрын
Well Ben here didn't really care about those other people though, only himself and Alex. That's why he tried to use the Hydra to gas everyone. He was right though, their plans were to 'torch the island' and kill everyone. Jack sorta believed Ben here, but Jack doesn't exactly have the best judgement. Something we learn in season 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 to some degree.
@Melissa-hd3jr Жыл бұрын

I mean.. He was lying AGAIN, though. Ben had ordered the Others on the beach to NOT kill Jin, Sayid and Bernard. They shot in the sand and played it through the walkie only to coerce Jack.

@jimmy2k4o7 ай бұрын
Ben claims to be responsible for the purge. But I think he’s lying, I think it was widmore. And that justifies Ben’s fear of him coming to the island, because widmore has done it before.
@melrupinski882 ай бұрын
I’ve always thought Widmore was responsible for ordering the purge since he was in charge after Eloise left. I imagine Ben, having been part of the Dharma Initiative probably knew about the Tempest Station from his father, and told Widmore…so in a sense, he saw himself as responsible.
