I am about 8 chapters in and having an absolute blast with this game. This is a budget game and you feel that at times, but honestly it’s pulled off very competently and punches above its weight class regularly. I genuinely think just a few tweaks here and there and this game would be utterly amazing, which it seems like the devs are committed to taking feedback on. Regardless, this is worth every penny and supports passionate devs who have put out a great game and clearly aspire to even greater works.

Thank you for saying this game is coming to consoles too because a lot of channels cover PC only games and never tell us the platforms. Not everyone has a PC.

so far compare to other simillar games I say the only cons is no flashy character (maybe pro for some) other than that is almost the same which is good, simple but fun

So far i like it very much, but the mechanics sure need you to get used to it. Ranged combat and spellcasting makes absolutly sense. Most of the learn curve you need to learn where to put the archers to actually hit something.

3:09 THE THING WITH LIPSYNCRONISATION: That is just a problem for natural English speaking players but not for the rest of the world since, folks growing up in other parts of the world are used to that because of the dubbing. If you read otherwise what is not uncommon now days is because those fellows just want to show off

Warning for players that dislike turn limits. The game has turn limits, and while many have said the turn limits are generous, rewards are still tied to them. So if you liked Valkyrie Chronicles this is probably up your alley. If you hate turn limits in SRPG's it might be a pain point for you.

The Devs recently said they are working on expanding the turn limits to 99 every figjt or getting rid of them completely since people did not like them. They have been pretty good about listening to player feedback.

@@thatguysam9194 Thank you for the extended context. Last I read they were thinking about it so I didn't mention it since nothing concrete has happened yet. If they do get rid of the turn limits and toss out rewards being tied to completion times I'll likely pick it up then.

We are going to make announcement about the turn-limit within this week as we are done with our internal discussion and research - we are going to provide an option to turn off turn limits when starting the game.

Theres nothing I distaste more than a beautiful set of armor to be left incomplete by the lack of a helmet. For one, its game - not hollywood. Why would anyone go into battle without a helmet? Secondly why would people want to look at an ugly face when you can look at an awesome helmet. Video games really need to be better at respecting helmets.

Yeap. I think it's got to do with people wanting to see the character's face, and that's in conflict with reality. In real war none of us would give a shit what we look like in the mirror. I also think the scale of human : other objects (castles, beasts, weapons) is really off-putting.

Game needs a script writer that's competent and not just bounce from formal speech to street lingo. I'm not asking Tactics Ogre levels of dialogue just a simple English medieval dialogue. Additionally, the faces during dialogue needs work as dead-pan faces just begs for a simple 2D portraits. Couldn't appreciate the story because of these two things and I end up skipping most of it. It gets annoying because they look and sound like they're LARPing with severely bad acting.
