Let me open up the gates of the "Golden Palace", and take you into the bewitching story of a vast and opulent Italian family that once had deep pockets by virtue of acres of rice crops within their region and beyond.
You are about to watch a truly breathtaking deserted palace, dating from centuries ago. A building where numerous generations have passed and where prestigious families have led their lives in, little from knowing that they were seconds away from disappearing forever. Life's like a vapor: it's here today but could be gone tomorrow. Ever since that moment, mother nature has conquered and the glamorous property is solely left to decompose. As both its exterior, and interior, are crumbling apart, its artistic renaissance jewels within are still well preserved in time.
Apart from being strictly Christian people, we come to another unexpected discovery while we interview some people on the streets. According to these local villagers, rumors even go, that the former residents were worshipers and believers of exorcism.
Enjoy a tour, as I will unravel the mysteries in this palace that have remained hidden from the human eye for years on end.

Not only am I impressed with the beauty of this home and the antiques inside, but I am MOST impressed with you closing and securing so many windows to save the house from so much more damage. Loved the wine cellar with the stone pillars and the huge arched doorways almost as much as the georgeous painted ceilings. Much love to you for giving us this beautiful video.

Cathy Reardon I have made this comment on another video I believe that he did if I'm not mistaken. Just yesterday I let another person that takes videos. I let her know how important it was to shut all windows and doors. Watching these videos shows you why.🙂 God Bless🙏

Cathy Reardon It's too bad that people that are into preserving these places(if they aren't too destroyed) would volunteer their time if they truly had the compassion that I have. I don't have the knowledge too do electrical, plumbing, etc. but all I would need was for someone to show me what to do.🙂. I love ❤️💜💚💛🧡 Explmo so much. They are my favorite. I again love ❤️the compassion and the love ❤️ that they have for all their places that they travel to.

I deeply appreciate the sensitivity and empathy with which you enter and explore properties like this one. Those who come to steal and vandalize must be kept away as best can be accomplished. You have a kind of reverence for the past, and those who lived it. This palace is exquisite under it’s cobwebs, dust, peeling paint and cracked plaster. When it was lived in it must have taken the breath away to see it. There is still a chance that it could be saved and restores. It is like a jewel box filled with colour and beautiful things from the past. If walls could talk, these ones would speak volumes. Thank you.🖤🇨🇦

Every time Maureno smells perfume I get scared and I remember that other house, which also had a chapel inside, that he couldn't even reach the end of the corridor. I found the palace beautiful, but sad and heavy. I don't feel that people have been happy, as I've felt in other homes. Happiness is often found in places where money cannot buy or reach. That's why every moment needs to be the best of our lives. Thank you Maureno and see you in the next adventure.

"good intentions" but with bad results. A building has to breathe, have fresh air and some sunlight passing through or else you'll get mold and fungus growth which this house already has a problem with. It was a kind, thoughtful gesture, but the results are going to be bad.

Love the way you go around the place with respect and care for the place and the people who once lived there. One must think about what would you say if somebody looked in your stuff and home after you passed, and you do that. Please keep your vids long and poetic like this one. I would rather watch one of your explorationvids. than movies on Netflix . Take care and keep up the good work. Youre my fav. explorer.

Closing all the windows may not be a good idea. Buildings need aeration not to get mold. Mold can also fast contribute to the decay process. Keep opposite windows slightly open so air can circulate.

That was exactly what I thought watching them closing the windows. It is well meant, and a nice protective gesture, but could be more harmful to the house than letting them at least a bit open. Mold will grow everywhere where it is dark, humid and standing air.

These Italian mansions are always my favorite. It's so sad to see these rot away because of absolutely insane inheritance taxes. But even still, despite the impossible inheritance taxes I find it so hard to believe that nobody wants these homes surely someone else out there would buy these and preserve them. They talk all this mess about UNESCO heritage sites and "preservation" but what I'm seeing all around me says just the opposite of preservation of heritage. This is the intentional and systematic destruction of the last vestiges of our history. Soon these places will be gone and with it all memories that they ever existed at all for future generations. So many adults are fascinated by these videos. But how many adults watch these with their children and try to convey to them exactly what it is we are really losing. These videos are like a last goodbye to the old world. And our children will never know it ever existed at all. These videos are like a worlds fair exposition. And then it will be gone.

Agreed, the problem with some of these mansions was that the people who owned them had to pay very high taxes, imposed by the government! I’ve heard stories where the families could no afford to keep their family estates, therefore had to sell!

Absolutely breathtaking! It breaks my heart to see it fall into such disrepair. What is wrong with these countries that have such high taxes for inheritance leaving pieces of history just strewn about the countryside with no disregard of its history or preservation. I am just baffled. I admire and respect show much the work that you do, the preservation that you do and the respect that you show for these buildings and the people that lived in them. Going and shutting all the windows was so admirable trying to preserve for as long as possible even if the owner doesn’t care. The absolutely only thing I can think of is if they still believe in the exorcisms than they would also believe in leaving the windows open so that the bad juju can leave and will not stay trapped in the house. That is the absolute only reason I can think of for them to leave everything So open. Bros of decay are also ones that I really admire for the integrity that they show. So far U2 are the only ones that I found found that I’ve shown the most integrity which I both admire and respect. Once again thank you so much for what you do. Amazing video this week. The palace was incredible! Another thing that you to do and having common is the back history. If there is any to be had used guys seem to find it. Which makes it so much more interesting. Who were these people? what did they do?what happened to them?

Woow Maureno from super team Explomo, What an incredibly breathtaking and entirely fascinating location!! - It's always such a pleasure and for me especially now a pure bliss to watch a new video from my Dutch friend. - I already loved the beautifully formulated introduction, combined with lovely music. - I am nearly speechless, how much beauty is still visible behind the apparent traces of decay. - Bravo Maureno for your attempt to close this place to prevent it being more destroyed by people with wrong intentions! - Incredibly beautiful artwork on the walls and the ceilings! - I would say, that most of the still well preserved furniture with very elaborate wood carvings is from the late 19th/ early 20-th century, from the so called aera of "historism", - a period, when older styles like baroque and renaissance were imitated. - Wonderful video, which I very much enjoyed watching, dear bro! Stay safe, lots of blessings and peace! - Kindest regards from very warm and sunny Switzerland.

Yes, sad, with barely an echo of what it used to be ... am impressed with your Commentary & your deep understanding of an era gone ... I felt warm & safe as we walked arm in arm .... Because of your deep empathy, I was able to see the Splendor of hopes, of tragedy & the myriad of dreams that had come before. I noted how the adjoining bedrooms that were originally a bedroom & private drawing room were now changed. The narrow back stairs were filled with children running about joyously before breakfast & the quiet sounds of servants making ready the Palacio as dawn broke ... thank you ... I am pleasantly secure that we shall meet again ...

A little cleaning and refurbished they would be good as new .I don't understand why the county doesn't remove these items for museum or sold and money put to charities..If they don't care. Than I don't think it's a big deal. I would rather someone to save all this than let it rot..I totally agree no one should vandalize . It makes me sad to see things like this just rot to the ground..Thank you for sharing. Also what an amazing job you do. Thank you for closing it up to help it stand a little longer. Love from the US.💜💜

So amazing! Why do I have to be so old and disabled? Why do you have to be so young but with a wise old heart? Why can't I be a rich old lady with millions of dollars and I have no idea what to do with it? I guess I am going to adopt you. I lost my 26yo son last year and he was a carpenter. He loved restoring homes to their original condition even though he worked new construction. He loved working with wood and restoring parts of houses that they thought would never be restored again to its original beauty. But I think that probably derived from me taking him to all of the small town museums, civil war re-enactments, old buildings that were still operating hahaha I remember when he was 5, I took him to the Gold building in Beaumont, TX it was only 6 stories high but I put took him on the old 1930s Art Deco elevators and it was so funny when those magnificent doors shut we were suddenly zoomed up to the 6th floor lol It was an old cable elevator not the stupid hydraulic ones of today lol. OMG He was giggling and giggling lol we rode it up and down a couple of times just laughing and giggling. We ran out of the building hand in hand laughing into the sunshine. When we got in the car he got sorta quiet and he said "Mom, I don't think we should talk about this but I just have to tell you" and he sorta hehehe'd Then he said, "But when that elevator went up and down it made my tentacles laugh" hahaha (He meant testicles lol I always used medical terms lol. But I had to drive home in wet pants lol I never laughed so hard in my whole life hahaha. Every time I watch another adventure with you all I can think of is, Oh Wow, Talbert should be with him. I think yall would have been incredible friends. He also was great at doing networking and getting people to do things, I guess he learned that from me and Boy Scouts (He is an Eagle Scout) but he also knows people and I can see him getting people to invest to save a couple of these places. He had a passion like you. I also guess that is why I adore you so much is you great desire to save history and share it with the world. I wish I could go with you and get the towns to come together and save these grand homes. Turn them into their pride and joy as a museum or tourist attraction but no one has time, pride or passion for that anymore With the former owner living next door it makes you wonder what awful thing made him walk away? How something so beautiful he could walk away from and watch it slowly slip away into rubble. Maybe it comes with the generational thing, I know people who had family businesses that were generations old, the youngest generation wanted to put as much distance between themselves and the family business as possible, In the name of "making their own way" and having no respect from where they came from. Many were and are so spoiled and catered to, they have no respect for what gave them their good posh lives. They hated the idea of being "bogged down" with the family business. I think too that could be the same with some of these old majestic places. It makes me nuts when people die around here and their grandma left some great family heirlooms and the grandkids take PICTURES and say "Well, I don't want or need that old crap and I can sell it for lots of money. I have a picture and this way I don't have to dust it or keep up with it". That idea of history makes me so very sad and mad. I hope you Mother is proud of you, more proud of you than I am would be a hard thing to be ya know lol But keep up the great work! Maybe someone will start saving the history when they see what all you have shown us. The ceilings are breath taking, you can see how probably over the years different things were built and the change of the times, style and customs. The architecture is just stunning!! 28:40 OMG That horse tackle is fantastic!!! 29:22 Wine Cellar .. I wonder if that wine is still any good, they are not over on their sides, which they would need to be if they are red wines. But you are right OMG I don't know if I could have left there with out trying one lol 38:13 does look like the shed you took us to where the wine cellar was 39:35 looks like a car payment book 42:35 you can tease me all you want because you always give the greatest surprises! 43:42 Is that book about the body or about organic farming? LOL My fluent dumb sticks out with other languages lol I know it is about organic chemical compounds and that is about it 47:00 you see christmas decoration, I see TIRE hahaha 52:28 OMG that is an amazing light fixture WOW 57:10 that bedding there sorta indicates that a vagabond or street person had been sleeping there, maybe they left all the windows open so they could come in and out as they pleased 1:05:58 That nearly made me cry with all the books that were so mistreated, they looked so old, how sad Even the stair rail at the end was amazing! THE LENGTH OF THE VIDEOS IS PERFECT, each home is different, each one has a story to tell and some times the story is short and sometimes it is a novel. I think the lengths are perfect. If someone wants shorter ones, they can fast forward if they want longer they can watch it over and over. You do an AMAZING editing job and there is too much I don't want to miss!!! Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with me, I do wish I was with you! The ceilings were beyond words gorgeous and to think they are just decaying away is so heart breaking. Again THANK YOU MY FRIEND. Much love and prayers for safe travels. God Bless

Talberts mom… I think you and I would get along famously! You broke my heart to hear that you lost your son at only 26. Maurano is such a love, I think you should adopt him. I’m sure he won’t mind them another mom you can never have too many right? I absolutely loved loved loved hearing about that elevator going up and down. Out of the mouths of babes. Lol. That was so cute. Absolutely priceless although he would have your head on a platter if he knew you had posted it online. If he’s anything like my son. “In Jeez mom” oh yes I can hear it now. Mine is going to be 35 this year. My gosh I can’t be right! Where on earth did the time go. Since I am in California it is getting late and I must get to bed have my little five-year-old grandson tomorrow. You take good care of yourself Talbert‘s mom… Because you are special. You have stories to tell maybe even a book to write. Then you will be the rich old lady with millions of dollars and a big idea of what to do with it😉I am deeply deeply sorry for your loss. I can’t even imagine, but you have a good sense of humor and a good head on your shoulders and something tells me you’ll be just fine. Especially after you adopt Maurano

Hello. I understand your concern about the damage produced because of the windows opened. I believe they are wide opened so that air and light can get in and prevent, at least a bit, of the making of much more mold and fungus. They don't necessarily come from the rain. Mold and fungus destroy everything, it's quite damaging. Loved the video, beautiful golden palace! If someone finds your videos long, they can speed it, or watch it on different days, forget about it. Thanks. :)

Magnificent! The artisans of this era who worked on this place and others like it, were truly masters of their trade. The beautiful ceilings, walls and furnishings. The blue and gold room left me in awe. It's a crying shame such beauty is left to disinegrate. Once it is gone you cannot get it back. Thank you for bringing us this video of this outstanding place to see as well as all the others. It must really be something to see in person.

I happened to watch your video since last week. I am grateful to you for showing me very good data. And, through this video today, I learned how great you are. I was really touched by you when I saw you closing the door to protect what was in this castle and grieving over the government's negligent decision. Eventually, I decided to subscribe to your video today. I really, really thank you.

In Italy it stays in the family even if taxes are still owed I'm currently dealing with the situation if property is worth more than a certain amount then you pay have to pay the back taxes So will have to sell half to 3/4 of the property to pay the taxes owed And I'm dealing with it my home...

@@megangreen7266 Another reason it's because of the old Roman law I have a home to live in it's because of where you are from and your ancestors it's tradition it ensure that if anyone from the family will always have a place to live to go back to And maybe they just don't want to sell why do they have to? It's a family thing and it's their business what they do with the property and the content of the house why should it bother anyone what they do with their property? I'm glad that it's this way it's my family a generational inheritance it's been this way for thousands of years this the Roman law it stays in the family

Amazing Castle, I was thinking maybe they left the windows open to air out and dry any moisture due to roof leaks. The mold was not as bad as it could have been. Also since the previous owner lived next door, the owner could potentially hear if anyone was trashing the place, just a thought. Beautiful place.👍✌love that place

Hola Maureno!! 🙋‍♀️😘🇨🇱✌️
