Watching this on Netflix, and being totally addicted, I never would have guessed that "Henry Gale" would turn out to be my absolute FAVORITE character in the show! :D I love Ben!!

I totally fell for his act when i first saw it haha, especially since they actually find the smiley face balloon...i was so shocked when it was revealed that he was lying...and yeah, who knew Ben would be my favorite too :)

Yes I love Ben too, but find this scene unrealistic....if he TRULY stole Danielle's baby, as we saw in later episodes...then why in the name of GOD (and the natural love of a mother for a child), didn't she torture him, or interrogate him (Sayid style), or kill him and have done with it? Why in the name of JACOB would she turn the child stealing ass over to the Losties thinking that would do some damn good?!

I read on the wiki that she didn't know that he, specifically, was the one who stole her baby. That she never saw him at the time. But yeah, there's also the issue of her questionable sanity.

YEAH...kind of makes me wonder why the FUCK she didn't shoot him and torture him in order to get to her daughter? Or just kill the MF?! Or MAYBE, the writers hadn't decided who had stolen her baby, and didn't think that Ben had done it...they decided that MUCH later when they realized they needed something to ground Linus to what was going on...he has a daughter that he, for some reason, cares about...etc.

well, he stole her baby more than a decade ago, she clearly doesn't remember how he looked like. it was even nighttime when he did it

Michael Emerson was only supposed to be in the episodes that he was in the hatch but they loved his acting that they made him the leader

I actually believed “Henry”, until the scene where Sayid told Jack he had no regrets in torturing him because we then see Henry’s face and I could just tell it was menacing

This is confusing... Henry/Ben really doesnt seem to remember Sayid although he shot Ben as Kid.

i think danielle remembers ben. When she said she had not seen other ppl on the island maybe she did not want to bring back the memory of what happened to alex

mrclifton88 perhaps, I think it’s safe to say that was her only encounter with them do in a way she never has see them. If I was her I’d question my own sanity.
