Join me for a tour into London's lost past!! The first part of our video, is a nighttime rainy London tour "which begins at a Water Sculpture, that pays homage to one of London’s (now subterranean/forgotten) Rivers" = The River Walbrook. Then we take a short walk from there, down Eastcheap & rite opposite Cannon Street Station "where we take a look at London Stone" = which wasn't always where it is now! & that takes us to the second part of our video = The now lost St Swithin's Church "which was once the location where (London Stone was originally on display) = as well as being the burial place of Catrin ferch Owain Glyndŵr = Catrin ferch Owain Glyndŵr was one of the daughters of Margaret Hanmer and Owain Glyndŵr "Welsh Freedom Fighter & some say = The lawful Prince of Wales." Catrin was captured in the English Welsh wars, & along with her daughters "they were imprisoned in The Tower of London" = Their deaths & burials in St Swithin's are recorded "although no cause of death is given" 🤔
And that, ladies & gentlemen "is some of London's hidden/forgotten history." Hope you all enjoyed ✌️
