Some good stuff there. Ive spoken about Grace Jones many a time. Thats a great album, just a notch below her previous. That Buzzcocks is great, although slightly more of the same, 'I believe' is a great tune

I’ve tried with Tim Buckley but have never warmed to his records or his voice. I remember Julian Cope being a big fan. One of my sisters has passed on her Leonard Cohen albums to me so I’ll give him a try...

Hi dale always enjoy your monologues before we see any records😃. I enjoy any video you do so the length is never a problem, the highlights for me here were Grace jones and the buzzcocks. Cheers 👍

I just recently brought So back into the collection and I really enjoyed it The Grace Jones album is one of my all time favorite albums. It is so much fun and so danceable. Too me that is her best album. Nice records to rediscover again Dale

Hello Dale! A little of Tim Buckley's voice goes a long way for me. He's one of those artists whose voice I think is wonderful, but find hard to listen to for a prolonged time. Rufus Wainwright is another. Although, I can listen to early Leonard Cohen without thinking his voice is whiny. Cheers - Hed

Yes great in small doses is probably the way to look at it. I do enjoy early Leonard Cohen but prefer his later stuff musically...

I haven’t culled for years but I have stopped buying. Haven’t bought anything for a couple of months. I see this continuing tbh. No more fairs for a while. Not been in a shop for at least a month. Lost a bit of interest in collecting more. Got so much already Hope all is well Dale

Hi Chris - I've probably reached the point where I don't want to purge much more as a dedicated exercise. I'll do it gradually now, as I play a record that doesn't earn its keep. However I do need to offset that by buying less, which is going to be challenging...

@@gatefold33 I’ve found buying less really easy

After four minutes of explaining I’m more confused. With a few exceptions I have gotten rid of my 80’s cheese. I have one Leonard Cohen and that is enough. I did mention the album So in my latest video, Ten Best Albums 1986.

I should have drawn some formulas and diagrams but that would have probably proved I was talking nonsense...

Not sure I followed your rationale for no longer doing these videos Dale, but that probably says more about my stupidity than your logic..😂 I always loved Jeff Buckleys' version of Hallellujah ( actually more than, dare I say Leonards' original). I agree Morning Glory is a stunningly beautiful song..although I am quite selective with Tim Buckley..I loved his reading of Fred Neils' Dolphins. I don't own any Buzzcocks, I would buy them if I saw them, but I don't sadly. That Otis and Carla album is OK, my copy isn't great sounding, so I don't enjoy playing it. All the best with work, don't work too hard!.

I knew I should have drawn some formulas and diagrams...although it would have probably just proved I was talking nonsense...Tim Buckley's version of Dolphins is beautiful. cheers Dale

Quality ramble. Nuff said. Think I'd miss Leonard Cohen's voice doing his songs it's just so unique not that I like it all. I came home in an odd mood the other day I often ponder culls and listened to hex (a repress cost me about 20£ dramatically up in price) by bark psychosis very undecided about was it good or not. Rambling, discordant at times. I don't think summer music necessarily suits the summer to me. Too predictable. Fruit flying around Peter Gabriel's head again oh dear.

Thanks I'll try and keep the rambles quality. I'm trying to add a seasonal category to my album spreadsheet but it is proving tricky. Probably because my mood isn't seasonal...
