if you want your cat to LOVE THEIR TOWER, go down to a local charity shop, buy an inexpensive blanket, cuddle up in it with the cat, next day cut it up and cover the tower with the blanket material over top what ever it's covered in. Your Cat Will LOVE That Tower !!

I don’t think he read the instructions. It didn’t look like it was intended to be a step. It you look closely, it is smaller then the other steps, and the one right below it has a red bar, most likely indicating not to step above it. Plus, right before he steps on it, you see it slide down just a little bit.

Yeah, those ladders are more dangerous, but he did not use it correctly. If you look closely, there is a red bar right below the he stepped on that made it fall. That was an indicator not to step above that one. Always read the instructions.
