We are excited to share the inspiring story of a Russian girl who came to China at the age of 14.
In this video, we will explore her struggles in the new environment and how she coped with the culture shock.
Her story highlights how the kindness of strangers and the power of community helped her overcome her depression and find a new sense of belonging in China.

哎换成国外生活，估计友好而且好客的少的可怜。至少在国内是真的对老外太友好了。以致于他人把我们当成示弱的表现。在中国，外国人至少能融入一半。在国外，中国人能融入10%我都觉得是奇迹。到底谁更包容？就凭他们说我们不民主？

大连和沈阳有很多从小生活在当地的俄罗斯人，光听口音根本分辨不出来是中国人还是外国人

@樹影斑駁也不一定耶其實。我因為信基督的關係認識了不少外國的比如德國的菲律賓的歐美的教友他們有些在台灣都生活十幾二十年的但中文還是沒有這個視頻裡的俄國美女來的標準。所以可能還是要看這個人是不是有認真與天分學中文的唷。

I have nothing related to China or Chinese. But seeing how China has developed and became what they are today, I foresee China is the future for my 2 children still in the university. Elder one will complete in 1 year and half time and the 2nd in 3 years time. I am planning to send both of them to China to learn Chinese language for at least 2 years. Spoken to them about sending them to China and they are very interested.

语言天赋惊人哦而且在中国的环境中能额外掌握英语，这就厉害了。我是会讲几种方言，因为在国内不同地方居住有语言环境。英语在国内时哑巴英语，后来来了美国后才学好的。她这就厉害了，中文地道、粤语也好，还能英语，非常牛

It was jaw dropping when she was speaking Cantonese. I'd say most Chinese cannot understand Cantonese let alone speak Cantonese. Lisa has such linguistic talent.
