I grew up in that part of southern Iowa, and had a great aunt, Cora Byerly, who lived in Knowlton. She was a Keller.

Interesting he mentioned Dizzy Dean. He was my grandmother's first cousin. When she passed away we found some letters that he wrote to her. Apparently they kept in touch throughout their lives. I don't know for sure about his brother's real name but they called him Daffy.
