I know this is a fictional character but it's so well written and played, it makes me feel real sadness. In this scene in particular, the way he enters the appartment, how he moves with fear, how he points with his hand, how nervous he walks, I only can think this is an example of a very good person in a crap world

That wasn't a exactly a "tackle" or an impressive one anyway; he simply ran up to Locke, grabbed him by his chest and pushed him when Locke wasn't expecting it. Anyone could have done that, the 8-story fall to the hard ground gave Locke the injuries, just saying

Jacob wanted MIB's plan to "work". It was inevitable. He wanted Ben to kill him. Why? It cause Jack, Kate and everyone else to come back to the island and finally kill MIB. MIB has tried to kill Jacob thousands of times and failed. Jacob let MIB think he won here, even though he could have easily stopped it (like saving Johns life)

Cooper-Seward and Locke were both in on this. Notice how they're talking. They both know the police (who talked to Locke just beforehand) are recording sound thru the window via via laser device. On the other version of this (this is a fan edit), you can see the motion anomaly where Locke gets to the second story. That's where one of him falls into a net and is replaced by his paraplegic double who's thrown out in near synchrony (but you can tell it's a little off). Locke now has a superb alibi.

Bob Jones he didn’t die from that fall. Jacob didn’t let him. Yeah it sounds stupid. after season 3 this show became a bunch of sci fi nonsense. Technically he only died once. Here he lived He actually died when Ben killed him. Then the smoke thing took on his form to gain the trust of the candidates.

Paulo pereira here John Locke fell but he didn’t die because he was chosen as a candidate to become the next Jacob. Later on in the series Benjamin murders him and that’s where he actually died. Then the smoke thing on the island turned into Locke to gain the trust of the other survivors.
