Legend Gauntlet has created brand new special gauntlet stages featuring popular characters from the 'Yakuza' series as bosses.
The Kiryu Kazuma stage has been completed, and stages for other characters will be developed in the future.

i played through the ultimate gauntlet and it was indeed rad, challenging but fun. i couldn't appreciate ai yagami a lot however because i was not expecting him, i was scared and i basically clutched the match lol

The fact that he can switch styles, use gadgets, perform EXactions and even juggle you makes it seem like you're fighting an actual player rather than an NPC.

Joryu is terrifying holy shit. Guess that's the power of a Yakuza protagonist, never allowing you to breathe. It's also extremely funny how one of the attack lines is just a damage voice lmao, Tiger Drop and Mortal Attack phase just causes lung cancer 😭😭

I personally don't think so. Against NPCs the damage would be high but think about this from someone who's actually playing the game, it'd be unfair and unbalanced for an NPC to have the same amount of damage with their heat actions as the playable character.

This is so awesome! I love the extra challenge and difficulty his fight brings I think the only thing I'm not a fan of is that he's able to heal while you're performing heat actions on him, and I've seen him use the on the ground punish heat action while he's in the middle of being air combo'd which feels rather unfair in a bad way Otherwise, this is the exact type of Kiryu fight I've been looking for all this time, awesome work !!!!

The first part of the video showcases my previous version 1.0, while the second part, the actual gameplay, is version 1.01. In version 1.01, Kiryu has an increased chance to quickly get up, which lowers the likelihood of him unleashing the ground punish heat action. However, this doesn't mean he will never use it. Additionally, you can activate EX boost to disable all of Kiryu's heat actions.

Climax/Ultimate Battles were amazing for how annoying they were. You finished the game and you could battle through challanges to fight the bosses again, shame they got rid of this feature EDIT: Kino Mod!

Hi, great mod i really loved, i want to ask you something is it necesary to have the game finished or something to use the mod? Or if its just necesary to put the mod on the srmm, i recently buy the game on steam and i finish the chapter 1 to unlock the gaunlet menu, but when i install the mod the game load infinity, sorry for the inconvenient

The infinite loading issue might not be caused by not finishing the game. Please make sure that SRMM is up to date and that you've disabled any other mods that might cause conflicts. Alternatively, you can try completing the main story or downloading a save file where the main story is already completed to see if the issue improves.

It is based on modifications of other enemies' AIs, and both the AI and moveset have undergone extensive modifications.

I just saw a youtuber that manage to "almost" NO DAMAGE this boss. I use "almost" because he still take damage from QTE regardless since it was an unavoidable attack

It can indeed be done, but I don't plan to implement it because it would require adjusting the parameters for each AI. However, I will provide options like enabling or disabling Kiryu's Health Regen. These options can be directly set to on or off in the configuration file, without needing to download optional files again.

The best approach is to enable only the Legend Gauntlet mod. Enabling other mods at the same time could potentially cause this issue.

RGG may have confirmed that Yagami can't beat Kiryu but maybe he can beat Joryu:) Also quick question, I'm guessing for Agent style it was impossible to have the other gadgets Spider,Serpant and the Drones imported as well or do ya plan to add them in a update?

@@k8say I'm not sure if it will help but did ya ever look at that substory involving the 4 kings or Gai Amon? The reason why I ask is because Gai Amon has a move that uses the spider, one of the bosses makes use of the serpant shoes in their moveset and the very first boss uses the drones and a couple other bosses summon the drones too and send them to Joryu. Not sure if it helps it could be just hard coded in or something

Yes, but thanks to the tools created by people in the yakuza modding community, porting it was very easy. However, elements like drones are hardcoded.

Ok. Cool. I would suggest a few changes. I would switch the Yakuza style color to be blue and the Agent style color to be green. Then, at the last 3 health bars, I will add a different style that would be red in color (Legend style), where counterattacks are more common, and pretty much the whole Komaki arsenal is on full display.

I do not intend to create a moveset mod for Yagami. You can consult with the authors of related mods, such as those for DOD and Kiryu style, to see if they have any plans to make one.

No, but if you can manually merge the cfc files, by unpacking the cfc of this mod and any other moveset mod, and then placing all the p_yag json files from the moveset mod into this mod before repacking, it might work.

Indeed, but there are also many mod creators who have made significant improvements to Gaiden with mods like Speed Demon and Legend Remix Gaiden.
