As the rains approach, Spotty, one of the MK cubs faces his greatest danger yet. Separated from his mother and siblings, he’s alone and hungry, and it’s up to his pride to try and help him, but are they too late? An emotional Sam follows the vulnerable cub day and night over four days, and struggles to detach her feelings when there are so many threats to the young cub. Against overwhelming odds, lost lion cub "Spotty" reunites with his mother after a grueling adventure.

I'm overjoyed, I'm overwhelmed and grateful that spotty is well he's found his mom his mom found him. I've been committed and invested in watching to see what happens to this little guy to this lil cub. I'm in tears with joy and gratitude

i love how passionate these people are when documenting wildlife. it goes to show that they genuinely care about their jobs and these animals. so glad to see that spotty was alive! i was really convinced he wouldn't make it, but he defied all odds!!

I am pretty sure the caretakers of the park found spotty and brought him back to his mother as she was many miles away. Spotty would not have made it back on his own. 9 days is a long time. In any case, it’s still a miracle

I’d be fine with that. They say they can’t intervene but they follow these animals around, use technology to monitor them & shine lights on them at night…we’re already interfering. Not in conflicts between animals, but I don’t see the harm in helping a lost cub from a pride they’re following around & filming.

@@sarahchristine2345 agreed. And personally not a fan of the fact that Due to injuries, infanticide, illness and starvation, only 1 in 8 cubs survive to adulthood. It’s a surprising number. They need to do more to secure their safety. I have notice recently polar bears have the same issue but more related to losing ice to hunt on.
