The perspective shifting is such a simple but convincing effect. It’s crazy how ahead of its time this ride was. I can’t recall even Disney correcting perspective on any ride screens until mission breakout in 2017

Fun Fact: Did you know that some voice actors from Spongebob voiced some of the villans seen in this ride. First there's Rodger Bumpass (the voice of Squidward) who provided the voice of Doctor Octopus and then there's Bill Fagerbakke (the voice of Patrick) who provided the voice of Hydro-Man.

Rodger also did one of the narrators in the MIB preshow next door. And Chris Edgerly, the voice of both Spider-Man AND J. Jonah Jameson, is also the voice of the Wormy Guy animatronic in the MIB preshow, and the shadow gag in the exit.

It's interesting to see how the designs have changed from being carbon copies of the Animated Series into its own thing.

Most of the designs are basically the same except for ock and spidey. Ock is wearing his green and yellow comic costume with a trench coat over it now, and spidey is like a mish mash of Web of Shadows and the Raimi films.

Props to you for releasing these in high quality man! Never got to experience the original version of the ride until after it was renovated in 2012. But yeah, seeing this makes me prefer the current version better :)

Went to this ride as a kid in 2001 with my family in orlando, one of the happiest days of my life, I didn't know this was lost media nor that it would be available to see it outside the park, this unlocked so many core memories within me that I forgot I had related to that moment in time, wish my family and I could be together again.

It’s actually the Hobgoblin. His voice is done by Pat Fraley who’s notable for voicing Krang in the original Ninja Turtles cartoon

Until I get access to those files somehow sadly not. I acquired these off of a portfolio DVD the animation studio “Kleiser-Walczak Construction Co.” released back in 2004 on their website. I’m now in possession of the only known copy

He grabs onto the vehicles front bumper and it gets pried off as the vehicle is moving backwards while he’s pulling it, then it pops loose and sends him flying back

The reason being is because all this footage is for the 3D screens only, that one has no stereoscopic 3D and is purely a 2D projection

It was originally supposed to be the actual sinister six but got changed for whatever reason. I’m not gonna complain about hobgoblin representation though. Especially when he’s voiced by Krang from TMNT in this ride.
