Dang. The song is so.....emotional. you can tell by how sad the vocals and instrumental sound. The fact that Sonic says "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" to his EXE counterpart further supports this. Sonic didn't want to become a monster, and he's trying to fight the urge to kill any living thing in sight.

A thing off topic, one thing i'm surprised hasn't been done yet is a fnf song relating to the Metal Virus comic, i'm sure it'd be interesting having sonic with the virus slowly taking over throughout the song, where his healthbar is constantly draining, but it drains slower the faster you go, maybe like hypno lullabye where you press space to run? Either way i'd love to see some hint of that amazing story, And again, this is a really damn good song dude.

I think this hits so much harder for me because there was a time in school where the procrastination and negative things swirling in my mind I kinda attached to the concept of those things taking the form of me and causing me to slip up and screw up and I did something similar to what sonic did I screamed at that side of me but in doing that the realization that I was that person and that it’s too late to get rid of it but it’s never to late to find a way to live with it.
