Brilliant scene from episode 1 of season 6. Excellent background score by Michael Giacchino. Oceanic flight 815 finally lands in los angeles.

Wait what’s the flash sideways?
@MOO2763 жыл бұрын
@@tiffanycurtis2264 It's what's happening in this clip. Basically, its the fans' name for the entire sequence of events that happened after this plane lands and the characters find each other. As opposed to flash-backs to the characters' pasts in the early seasons or the flashforwards to their post island lives, the flash sideways were the glimpses we got to see of them in this alternate timeline where the plane never crashed.

The look on Lock's face at the very end says it all.. and how sad as fans of the show we were watched at this moment thinking that the blast had wiped away their time on the island, where they became the people of their destiny. This was a brilliant scene and amazing soundtrack from Michael G. as always.. This entire scene setup the fabulous ending we would experience a few months later.. great to have these clips to remind us of those mystical moments of LOST

Samuel Cox I hate it when they do that... cast out certain charaters just so it can be exclusively about oceanic 6 characters or something.
@Onigirli5 жыл бұрын
@@nostalgia9338 I don't think it's like that. I mean they had Charlie who was gone before they even came up with the Oceanic 6 idea. Just an issue of getting actors to come back, who knows what got in the way of their return
@SamuelDJCox5 жыл бұрын
@@Onigirli I think it is mainly because of schedules and not having them all available. I'm pretty sure if they could have them they would. After all, the poster for the final season featured all the characters - so it would indicate that in an ideal world they wanted this season to be an opportunity for all to return.
@aliceintheomniverse57694 жыл бұрын
Libby wasn't in the plane because she was in a mental institution; Shannon didn't come back with Boone, but returned later when Hurkey and him make Sayid recover his memories; Ana Lucia never traveled with Christian and therefore wasn't in the flight neither; the others I believe don't appear in the last season ;)

its funny the people that hate on LOST..9/10 they never even watched it..Most times only seen commercials and shrugged it off..OR heard people talk about it just from hearsay that know nothing about LOST..AND they never give it a try..Believe me..watching LOST isnt like watching Cosby. You have to pay attention. You have to watch it more than once,twice or even 5x..You have to take everything and examine it..It has so many details that most everyone simply never pick up. LOST is what TV should be like..Even multi million $$$$ movies cant compete..LOST will forever be in my blood.

Overall, I think the disappointment people have with Lost comes down to two things: Is it important that the show answer the mysteries in a logical and satisfying manner? And if it doesn't, was the whole thing a waste of time? The producers/writers admitted that when they were wrapping up the show, they weren't able to deliver an ending that both "addresses the mysteries" and does justice to the characters. So they said that if they had to choose, they wanted to do justice to the characters that they and viewers fell in love with. On that level, they delivered magnificently, in spades. As a Lost fan, I'll admit the main plot fell off the rails in Season 6 and I wasn't happy with the explanations. But I loved the Series Finale thanks to how they handled the characters.
@Onigirli5 жыл бұрын
Fuck the fans, I mean that sincerely. The show answered all the major questions and fan dissatisfaction pretty much started with their inability to let go (irony intended) of the show becoming serialized and leaving behind the beach as a main setting starting into season 4 onwards. It's not a feeling I respect at all since I feel the show's best season was 5 (even if the last third of season 3 had my favourite sequence of episodes). Even before that, fans were complaining about growing boredom. I liked the show's decision to end on a purely comforting note, as implausible as everything was it left me with such a deep feeling of contentment that I didn't really care about satisfaction at that point. "BUT THE HURLEY BIRD, WHAT ABOUT THE HURLEY BIRD? THEY NEVER EXPLAINED IT AAARGH THIS SHOW SUCKED"

There's something so nice about the super small detail that Jack stays on the flight until everyone has left - he is a doctor and a *Shepard*. The look he gives John at the end is purely one of acknowledgement, but John looks away in embarrassment - thinking he's being judged. Of course, Jack thinks nothing less of his condition since he IS a doctor - but John doesn't know that - which is also why he also feels awkward about this guy hanging around so long. Edit: holy shit haha i hadn't seen the very next scene where they meet and jack asks what happens and gets the 'sigh.. this shit again' - until he explains that he's a doctor! Well set up!

I just watched this show for the first time in March of 2016, 6 years after it ended and I was blown away by it. Then I found chronologically lost on FB and rewatched it again with all the little missing things network TV leave out and the story was transformed again. I cannot seem to drop it. Thanks to Mike Maloney for that version. It is indeed a magical show.

This show makes me choke up to this day still only just by watching clips! I wish I could go back to the good old days when we could still watch a new episode on TV! It was what I always looked forward to! Now it’s Supernatural been a fan since this show was on & now sadly it’s ending too! They just had their very last filming day ever on 9/10/2020! If I thought I bawled during the last scene of LOST I’m going to be on the floor sobbing when they air the last episode of SPN! That show got me through some rough times with depression after almost dying & breaking my back having the surgeon mess my spine up for life & having 2 of my best friends who were like brothers to me who I’ve known most of my life just walk away & never speak to me again even though I did absolutely nothing! I have an okay life now have friends I jam with every weekend get drunk & high play live music for our parties but I still greatly miss my old friends & even though it’s been years & years I still think about them everyday because having someone that close to you just walk away like that over night hut having it happen twice is just as bad as if they actually died! I love the friends i have now & the good times we have but I still would do anything to see my old friends again! Sounds pathetic I know! Wish I could go back to the good old days! 😕

Ha I finally found a lost fan and a spn fan. What are the odds? I like lost a little bit more than supernatural just because i feel like supernatural lost its edge from season 6-9. I think, initially, a lot of fans didnt like the or felt let down by the final season cause it was structured completely different compared to the previous season. 1 through 5 sat on mystery & conflicts while season 6 was a tad more drawn out & straight forward & was about resolution. Yes, there were some shortcomings but they're outweighed by the overall themes & arc of the story. Ive watched the show entirely 3 times & season 6 has rivaled 1 & 4 as my favorite & the show ended the best way it could have ended, it may not have had "the answers" some people were looking for. For the most part it tied things up pretty well given the unique & unconventional show it was at the time. There will never be another show like it.

Watching the authorities finally take Kate into custody is perhaps the saddest part. We've seen such an indefatigable spirit run for so long in the belief that she could actually beat them, and it's a strange and melancholy sight to see her conclusively lose. Even after knowing the scene is a red herring on repeat viewings, it's still difficult to watch.
