This is it everybody.
This is Lost Odyssey 100%/all achievements done in a single sitting in 23:30:18.
This run does NOT include DLC achievements, just the vanilla 1000G.
I am glad that I was able to finish it under 24 hours.
This is more an endurance test than anything else especially towards the end when pretty much all you do is repetetive and boring grinding.
Luckily we still made it (even with a few hiccups here and there) and now the run is complete and finished.
I challenge every Lost Odyssey player to try this themselves. It's a rollercoaster ride full of joy, sadness, laughter, desperation and sleep deprivation. Right now I never want to to this again.
Now the focus in this game is back to any% and eventually routing any% no Gamble.

Following this guide in 2023, my heart sank, and my butt hole clenched when I didn't get the Treasure trove achievement. But having 98 seeds after finishing the temple of enlightenment should help my search efforts. Great video, this is still the best guide possible for this game.

thank you so much!!! I played Lost odyssey after many years again and now finally i got the last chest that i missed in two game plays (first 2008-2009, second in 2020-2021):D at the beginning i think ja forget something in the toe but it was the chest at 27:18 great video

im following this video to finally get the treasure trove achievement on my 7th playthrough of the game since it came out back on 360. hats off you you mate, you are a trooper! I think you can shave this time way down on the xbox one backward compatibility :)

I just finished watching this (had it playing in the background while working). Impressive stuff. The game actually seems pretty fun and I feel motivated to pick it up (casually), although I wonder if I am a bit spoiled knowing how OP Gamble is.

Speaks volumes to how good this game actually was. It's content is 24 hours SPEEDRUN. That's insane by that generations standards.

I tried to get all the chests on a second play through but missed one or more. I never played again. This run hasn't inspired me to try again but it was excellent to watch. Thanks!

Out of the mistwalker rpgs on the 360 this was by far my favorite. Blue dragon i enjoyed, but the story was impossible for me to follow or understand. Also i preferred the artstyle and characters of this game much more too.

one of my biggest disappointments in this game was that i couldn't change costumes as the Ghotzens armor looks AWESOME! I mean only the bad guys get swanky new outfits

You should be able to do all of that in Disc 4 as well.

Is the grind to 40 to make most of the combat between then and disk 3 fairly risk free? or was it to get a headstart on mastering skills? Or was it both?

It is sort of a trade off from both. Silver Kelolons give you a full level until 40 so not only can you get the first set of skills in already, it also makes the upcoming main story parts much easier. Since the encounter is not guaranteed though I can't say if its actually that much faster but you need to grind at some part anyways so why not start early to make other things easier :D

Would the run not be faster if someone else was marking when you got something as you aren't playing for a few seconds every time you turn away to type and mark the items off

Well yeah but there are a lot of things that can be improved. Seeing as this was a special challenge and only a one-time thing there is a lot of room for potential improvements :)

You can level on the outside once you hit mid to late 40s. I wouldn't advise to go inside until you're 60+ though, the enemies inside hit a lot harder.

The game is backwards compatible. If you got an Xbox One/Series you can download it from the MS Store.

If I ever get my hands on an Xbox One. Since it got ported over, its faster there (since no disc swap and slightly faster loading times) so I wouldn't make much sense for me to run on a slower platform.

I never finished the game, but the run is great so far..! But 17 seconds between the random encounter transition and the first input, everytime, is wayyyy too long.. Still enjoying it a lot, thanks for the run

I want to follow this sort of as a walk through will I be able to do this? Like there's no game breaking glitches or anything is there? Will this be easy to follow and copy?

There is one glitch used in disc 4 (Persistence Glitch), nothing gamebreaking though so if you just use this as a guide for all achievements you are good to go.

The upload itself was done in about 4-5 hours I'd say. The processing by KZfaq was done over night so I'd say probably around 16 hours.

wow I cannot see the point of speed runs proves nothing and I believe takes away from the enjoyment of the game. But having said that well done :)

Doesn't take away any enjoyment if you beat the game several times prior. Actually its quite the opposite - it creates a new challenge and lets you enjoy the game over a longer period of time :)
