We hunt for Rockpools at Shell Bay, visit one of the most iconic beaches, Flahertys and get seriously lost! A big happy new year Lily and Jake it’s great to see you back for 2024 . That rock pool looks amazing reminds me of a bit like Champagne pools in Fraser Island. Wow you’re Pancakes Lily look delicious was that Strawberry on top with wipped cream on top very yummy I might have to make some myself. Always looking forward to seeing you both next Saturday night

What is the GVM off the beast! 2880. Pretty good fully loaded. So much for the canopy being “too heavy”. I guess you add a bit of ball weight too? Most likely still way under.

Yayyyy, glad you guys got the cheap fuel. Adelaide servos (x-convenience) do this quite regularly actually. It’s so good if you are in the right place at the right time.

Hey Guys (Lil and Jake)...I looked for you both this morning and you weren't there.!!!???!!! What happened. So I come back this arvo and hey, Pressto! I see posted 13 hours ago!!! WTF? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both! I hope SA gives you all the blessing you hope for in 2024! Beyond that, I hope 2024 brings ALL sorts of surprises and intrigue to your travels (and vicariously to us as well). Isn't cheap fuel 'a thing' ???!! It's SO great once found and so appreciated by those of us that use so much of the stuff! When you find it cheap it's like gold! Stock up! I see a little familiarity to your content, and I'd love to comment more and be a little critical to help build you content and channel, but I don't want to risk impacting your channel's growth and, of course personal growth/ identity/ persona's. I remember working in a servo way back in the day. Getting abused because we put the diesel up to 33 cents. 😂😂 Now it’s $300 plus to fill my Landcruiser 😢

Where was the boat when you weighed the car?

Hey Jake please correct me if I’m wrong but when calculating GVM it has to include the driver and any passengers. It appears that both you and Lil weren’t in the car when weighed plus where was your boat? I would guess that adding both driver/passenger and your boat would put you well over 3000 kgs. It might be worthwhile getting your vehicle and caravan professionally weighed to ensure you are compliant and that your insurance isn’t void. (Also filming the weighing process makes good content 😊).

Hey legend! Yea you may be right, the rangers are standard 3200 gvm and with an upgrade they go up to 3510. Boat weighs 52kgs if that makes you feel any better!

Plus, they need to add the weight of the towball download when the van is connected - I'm guessing that is >100kg (prolly closer to 150) based on the size of that van.
