Loved watching them. They made the show great 4 me.

This is a moment which Sayid's character needed in a way, some way to remind us that him leaving the island wouldn't mean he would forget Shannon. Maybe if there was something that Shannon had wanted to take off the island (an object or something), something that she wanted to get back to in the real world if she ever left - if earlier in the episode we see him pick something up from camp, then maybe another passing character made a comment about Boone or Shannon to which he makes some kind of small remark or even just a facial expression, then in the final scene when he's in the helicopter the camera cuts to said object to show he's keeping true to something she'd have wanted. Just a little touch like that really would have shown that were it not for her death, he still would be caring for her. The more time the show focused on his next relationship with Nadia, just the more it led fans to believe that Sayid's arc was all about him finding final happiness with her. And they were totally fine to do that, it just might have helped to remind people who weren't too keen on Sayid & Shannon, that he still did and would continue to love Shannon, even if at the very least it's just in his memory, it was stil something that meant a lot to him...

Very lovely video! It took me a while to get used to Shannon, but by the time I did, she was killed off. So sad. Sayid was the only one who saw through her attitude and into her deepest fears/emotions, etc.

I like the video, never liked Shannon much until she and Sayid were together then he sort of brought out the best of her and in their love I liked her because Sayid made her a bearable character and understood her so I was of course crying when she died. Poor Sayid. In my opinion, Song doesn't really fit them, because although nice "I held your hand through all of these years" doesn't really fit with the couple because they only knew each other for a couple of months and were only actually together in the last few weeks they had before she died unless this video is also meant to be like a fanfiction that the survivors were on the island for several years which doesn't fit in the story at all. Flawed but nevertheless for the moments of Shannon Sayid were of course appreciated and wonderful to watch.
