I think the 3 MLs were very well written. They loved her in their own ways & have their own unique issues, that makes the story very interesting. Love & understand Zhang WanYi's ambitions, he's such a great actor. XL's styling was the best, he looks great with his beautiful mask & white hair. However I'm Team Jing, just a personal preference😍 , his love is so sweet. I just love that for myself

Sadly it would follow the storyline like the novel, no matter how much my heart wants her to end up with Xiang Liu. I don't think I could ever get over Xiang Liu's character for a very long time. He is cold hearted, ruthless, yet sad and pitiful at the same time that he needs to carry a burden of such a tragic fate just to pay gratitude to his savior. He had to let go of his chance to be Xiao Yao's lover. He had a very high chance, but he resisted it because he knows he won't be able to make her happy, so he could only care for her in secret, using a dumb fair-trade relationship method to conceal his true feelings. My heart really breaks for him.

i cant read ur language guys but eitherway im back here and i ended up reading the whole freaking book and i still stand by my first pick. i dont regret choosing xiangliu. he loved xiaoyao so endlessly, so selflessly, and the most unconditionally among everyone. i wish the drama would let xiaoyao know everything he's done for her. I am forever traumatized with Cdramas bc they always end up tragic for me. I really liked Xiang Liu’s character but damn whyyyyyyyyyy… Now I think the title is Lost You Forever bc for me, it was their love story that was lost forever. Xiayao lost Xiang Liu forever 😭😭😭

Of all the Cdramas I've watched before, this is the most heartbreaking so far. Compared to Yang Zi's other projects, this one literally hit the spot where all the pain is coming from. This drama made me ride on a roller coaster of emotions. And now after reading the novel, it just made me broke into a trillion pieces more. I don't know what exactly should I feel. Be happy or be sad? my heart is confused. I want Jing for Xiao Yao, I also like Xiang Liu for her. Aaa!! Idk anymore. You better not read the novel, you will be extremely heart broken. (Specially for the XL fans) I hope the adaptation S2 have a different plot twist:(

@@Xixukukuhuhu yes after finding out this it made sense to me why why there are many guys and one girl! like a modern school drama that this naive girl goes to school and all the hot guys fall in love with her and everyone had a traumatic childhood!! Xianglu also reminded me of Wangsoo. Traumatic past, people treated him like a monster, looks like a cold hearted person but will fall in love with her... it indeed will have a tragic ending but I guess at least the female lead won't die here.

I know xiang liu is amazing and I love him too. But the one who gave her actual happiness and absolute peace was Tanshu jing/shiqi. He was ready to do anything and everything and was at all times with her from beginning to end so I stand with her for choosing him. Xiang liu loved her a lot but he caused her pain and fear in the beginning too and a lot of us choosing him shows we prefer loving toxicity ToT but I'm glad she chose TSJ.

He keeps pushing her away because he loves her and thinks he is not good enough for her. Jing is nice but he need to grow a backbone because he’s too good which makes him incapable of protecting her and/or their happiness. I would rather a man that will try to save me until there is no other option, to one that simply decides to give up and die with me. Jing is nice but at the end he too ended up hurting her because of his inability to be stronger. That’s just my opinion.

Oh my, it is happening. I read and reread the English translation of Koalas playground on this novel. Three men and powerful fathers. I root for the rebel lead, theirs is wild romance but Jing is the best for a lifetime.

But I’m just sad as I don’t see any other way to change their situations. 😢

I really liked Tushan Jing in the beginning... but all of his actions till episode 36 (I'm at 36 rn) are all just excuses not to let go if Xiaoyao even though he doesn't do anything to keep her. I started hating him when he committed suicide instead of finding a way to revive Xiaoyao. Xiaoyao was even the one to save him lol.
