you can see how each of them as a person is suited to their characters; isabelle is pretty tough and determined even in this casual interview setting; peeta sprinkles jokes into his interview and makes everybody laugh; jacqueline has this sort of detached, observational quality. it just shows that the entire cast was chosen so carefully and perfectly.

The couple of things that mattered to me though, was the severity of Peetas and Katniss' wound, and the sense that the games went for about 3 days, rather than the 2 or so weeks that it really went for. I think the mutts at the end couldve resembled the tributes a bit more too but thats a special effect that prob wasnt neccessary. Cornucopia looked pretty stupid too. Still loved it though

That is what most people say but, if you look at some behind the scenes it does say that when she broke her neck it made her incapable to swim to the surface. Hence she drowned, because of her broken neck, so in a way she did die because of her broken neck.

yes i have. but the book wasnt about katniss falling in live with peeta, it was about trying to keep herself and peeta alive, but at that point it wasnt about loving him, she was only doing it becuase she felt she owed it to him, becuase he saved HER life. yes in the 2nd and 3rd book, she gets feelings for him, but i was only talking about the first one, not the whole triligy. and when you hear about the book from people they never say " Oh, its a love story. and theres SOME killing in it."
