You know what people can bring up all kinds of technicalities but I consider Strike Back-Season 5 Ladybug’s defeat arc like this was a 100% loss for her, Gabriel got his wish and now the Butterfly Miraculous is in even worse hands

@@fatmaalkandari3381 I just hope Lila treats him better. Like lying to him that she has a good reason for doing this, making him be more happy with her. I can see Lila doing that after all seeing as how Nooroo is under her control regardless, she has no reason to mistreat him.

@@domonicsantalucia9002 Nooroo was also under Gabriel’s control so he didn’t have a reason to mistreat him but he did it anyway. Control generally tends to make people mistreat others. Well that is if the need for control gets into an unhealthy level. Wanting some control is normal and won’t make you mistreat others but Gabriel was a control freak. His need for control was on a really unhealthy level. People with a need for control on a level as high as that tend to lash out when they loose control, sometimes even lashing out just out of fear that they may loose the control they have. That makes them hurt others. Lila isn’t much better in that regard so I doubt she’ll treat Nooroo well.

Technically it was neither a defeat nor a win. It was a stalemate. Neither of them won or lost. Gabriel’s goal was to revive his wife and sacrifice a random person. But that never happened because Marinette talked him out of it. Instead Gabriel sacrificed himself to heal Nathalie. He never sacrificed some random person and he didn’t revive Emilie either. He sacrificed himself to save Nathalie’s life since he would have died anyway. Now he’s back together with Emilie just like he wanted to be. His goal was to be back with Emilie. Of course he would have preferred being Alive with Emilie but Emilie didn’t want to live and Gabriel didn’t want to live without Emilie so those 2 reunited in death. Since he knew he wasn’t going to live anyway, he used the wish to fix Nathalie’s life. That’s why it wasn’t a win or a loss. At least the wish wasn’t. Her loosing the Butterfly Miraculous in the river was a loss tho.
