Hi Al, great informative video catch up, the sound of the Hatton’s class 66 with the EM2 speaker with the Legomanbiffo sound is thunderous and amazing, Accurascale made a big mistake engineering out the EM2 speaker to fit an EM1, this was a mistake in my opinion, if they had left the chassis as it was I would have purchased one straight away, I guess it is what it is, loving the JJA auto ballaster wagons Al, I believe Bachmann announced them back in 2010 with the Windhoff MPV and the Plasser Tamper vehicle, thanks for sharing.💎

Hi Al - What a great job Mark has made of the walling and it really fits in . I have the same issue with the Metcalfe buildings with the fluctuation of the weather conditions some of them have started to look a little shabby and I have started to move to MDF . I still have not got round to putting my Lavvy on the layout but I have an idea what I am going to do with it . Keep safe. Cheers Kev

Imagine hooking up 2 to 3 of those on a goods train with the sound of course! I have already seen Lord Al's lavies on several different layouts. More layouts need them though. Hi Al, That class 66 sounds superb. As an aside, the Railtrack wagons behind it look good with their loads too. FYI, these wagons would run in rakes of 5 with the last wagon fitted with a generator. These come up quite regularly on eBay & if you don’t have 1 you should be able to pick one up at a reasonable price. It is the non-generator variants are significantly more. Hope that helps.

Hee Hee, nice one Lord Al...! Jenny was somewhat taken aback as I'm sure she was still under the influence of Craig's last biogas release! I'll pass the link to this video on to her, if that's okay. It's easier coming from yourself, I dare say. I've been searching for a Class 43 GWR Buffet Car for some years and finally got one this year at Perth MRE! My daughter spotted it in a tray I couldn't see into. So now my own Class 43 GWR set is complete too! I also picked up a BR Buffet car(Mk 1) and when I checked my 'Coach Box', I have a MK2 Buffet as well, from last years Perth show! So now I have a full rake of BR Grey/Blue coaches too! (Sorry, I didn't know you were looking for one.) Fantastic stuff from Mark there too and Geoff from West Hill has some great pieces of kit. The 9F is quite a loco and I picked up a cheap 1980's one which isn't running. I'll try getting it going but if not, it can sit as a 'Pride Of Place' Ornament, as it's one I've been after since I was a nipper too. It's looking good, sir and all the best to you. We're planning a trip to West Hill Wagon works as a club outing one weekend. I might avail myself of thd office block as that has a definite 70s/80s appearance. Put a few interesting cars outside and there's an on-layout diorama.

Thank you for the update. I don't like the sound of model steam locos on layouts that just go around the track in the same room. The thing I like about your layout is the trains go out of the room which makes the sound more realistic, the sound disappears.
