Yea, even as a Red Wings fan myself, i notice the IMMEDIATE difference when he became coach there!.. the Canadians became a lot more difficult to play against.. they're pesty! 😅.. that's directly how St. Louis played and how he represented grit and heart.. He's goid for those guys and they're fun to watch with a bright future on the come up!.. they gave my Red Wings all they can handle.. and just want to say MUCH respect from Detroit Canadian fans.. be very proud of your team! A lot of good young talent on the rise!.. Even tho i wish Slaf was a Red Wing 😁😋.. But Hey, can't always get what ya want eh??.. if that's the case my Red Wings would be in the playoffs 😅 But be encouraged Canadian fans and good season!😊

Personally, I call Slaf, Suzuki and Caufield the Time Line. They are the present and future of the Montreal Canadiens. And it's just a matter of time before they grow up and reach their true potential. Time is on their side.

MSL is the reason why Slafkovsky is where he's at rn.
@stanlay204
@stanlay204 Ай бұрын
Nah... Slafkovsky's work ethic is the biggest reason. It just complements with MSL. I would bet just about anything that Slaf would become a great player in every NHL team. The timelines would differ, but he would break in under 3 seasons anywhere.

@@stanlay204 So....no credits to the coach staff's management..... right..
@stanlay204
@stanlay204 Ай бұрын
@@thailakhampo I don't say that. The coaching staff is great in MTL, and Slaf can gain confidence there much sooner. They have influence over the whole young group, so they remove the pressure from them and allow them to improve. However, Slaf is not just the result of MSL. He would show his qualities regardless because he is one of the rare kind of people who do not crumble under pressure. He takes his work seriously, but doesn't take the critic to his address personally.

@@stanlay204 i agree with u. Like last summer, he worked on his stamina and it was his own choice, that wasnt SL or the Staff

The way he wants the team to play will never win playoff hockey this team is a strong forth line and a top 6 forward and new coaches away from playoffs
@KeithGreene-wu7bu
@KeithGreene-wu7bu Ай бұрын
On players playing more games healthy it goes to leaving players together to play with each other and get comfortable in the ice with each other when you are always changing lines players get hurt and that was the main problem the last few years coaches changing lines mates this team needs coaching help to play with out the puck and this man on man will never win playoff hockey. Get the 4 line bigger and faster get rid of some bad contracts add a top 6 forward keep Anderson and Armia as these guys are who you want come play off time add a player to play with Suzuki and Caulfield move slav to line with Anderson and Kirby dach third Armia Newhook Roy trade away the rest of possible and get a big fast powerful fourth line
