It's not based on season.You can repot a lotus plant after it became dormant( no new leaves and stops flowering)

Any balanced fertilizer is good for lotus. Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium in equal ratio.

Why did my lotus started to die...?? I planted it from seed. For the first three months.... It was growing healthy with each leaf bigger than the previous ones. But i dont know why... But after 3-4 months from planting(seed) its leaf started to age/dry faster.... Starting with one leaf than eventually whole tub of 75+ leaves dried out. Ps: i use to change water after every 2-3 days. Did'nt use fertilizer/insecticide N after 3 months leaves were getting low sunlight (cause winter was coming and sun direction changed) What can be the reason??

Lotus go dormant in winter, depending on your location. This is normal. Fertilizing during the summer every month or so is good for the plant.
