One year after his surgery ,I really give him credit for trying so hard ,not many vocalist would even attempt this ! Lou is amazing ❤️

Lou don’t sound too bad yet here. Still sounds like he has some range and power yet in his voice.

This man is simply amazing...showing courage in the struggle...I'm so thankful the worst is over...and he never left the top of that mountain!! Love him!

Achei muito lindo a força que esses artistas deram quando participaram desse show. Em 1988 passava longe que ele iria ter um tumor no cérebro quando se apresentou com artistas de peso para cantar a música I Want To Know What Love Is e no ano de 1998 ele cantou com artistas que estavam iniciando a carreira ao lado de alguns cantores veteranos ,sendo que ele nessa época ele passava pelas consequências do tumor mas nem por isso ele deixou de ser um excelente cantor dos anos 80 e inesquecível pra quem o admira como eu. .

My friends and I were at the 1998 Harvest Crusade when Lou Gramm sang in Los Angeles- it must have been another night than this video recorded, because when I was there he sang this same song and CHANGED the words/ lyrics to say "Now i KNOW what love is, because HE has shown me!" and I was so blown away, that was a perfect lyric change! I've looked for years, but I've never been able to find a recording of THOSE new lyrics ( a Christian version of the original ones) and was hoping this video would have that night, darn, but it's still wonderful with the original lyrics, too

It was only two months ago that I found out Lou Gramm is a Believer, and it thrills me no end that he's my Brother in Christ! I wouldn't have the courage to even try and hit the higher, on key screaming notes....can you imagine the pressure you'd feel inside your head doing that? I've never had brain surgery, and it hurts my head just yelling loudly! Props to Lou....you are fantastic! When we get home to Heaven, we'll all get NEW bodies! However they might look or are made of, I can't wait to hear Lou Gramm singing praises as lead singer in the Choir! ✝️♥️
