Kiss are the uber cringe band. Soft rock for people who think they are hard. A pop band in tights and makeup. But, and it's a Paul Stanley sized but, they have made bank, many, many times. For an average pop band staffed by fugglies, they have done very well indeed. Can't take that away from them.

The Most WTF Rants by Rock + Metal Musicians 2008pm 20.5.24 we all like to see our heroes or heroines get reet shirty and let rip. sadly, these guys are sick of the jobs they undertake so take any excuse for taking umbrage as an opportunity to pull the plug on a show or take it out on some unsuspecting douche due to high jinx from the crowd..... i've been bored and beset with tedium for the past 40 years.................. so go figure. could be worse, though.................................................................................................. couldn't it?

These are the only three I remember personally sitting through: 1) The Dead Kennedys at a club show in the 80s. Had everybody in the crowd sit down while he talked. 2) Disjointed Axl Rose during a Guns N' Roses concert (Skid Row opened). 3) Ted Nugent bitching and moaning about politics when he opened for KISS.

2007 When Dragonforce was opening for Killswitch at HOB in Orlando when me and about 20 people called DF out for using backing tracks for drums. They stopped the show and cried that anyone would even mention it. Or Chris Robinson of the Black Crows Livestock 2001 Tampa FL. Someone threw a Nerf football on stage and hit him with it. After 25 minutes of 😢😢😢 the show finally continued with people throwing whatever they had at him.

I get it. There's always going to be a drunk idiot throwing stuff at the band or just being a general nuisance in the audience, but... Don't punish all of the thousands of other fans who paid money to see you by giving them a lecture rather than playing music. You tell a security guy, off mic, and have the situation handled. Reasoning with a drunk idiot from the stage will never work out, it' just pisses off everyone else.
