Wouldn’t that just hurt like the clams, they eat lots of algae and plankton. But it ended up hurting because the extra light increased the bloom. At this point they need to cut off dumping. Plants can be placed around the bank to provide a natural filter for waste from groundwater as well

The problem is that while the water belongs to the public, the lake bed and shore belong to English aristocrat Nicholas Ashley-Cooper. He is refusing to give the property to the public of the town unless they pay him for it, even though he inherited the property. They can't mess with the lake since it belongs to him.

Fertilizer from nearby agriculture. To much "food" for the algae, combined with still, warm water ist perfect for the algae and horrible for everything else
