+ricarleite I don't think that was Smigel, I think that was Jonathan Groff. Smigel was only head writer until 1995. Louis mentioned that he and Dino were senior writers, so I think this happened after 1995.

The choice of outro music on this channel baffles me. Conan's channel has that pleasant little chime followed by a "Ding!" that opens every video like you've just opened a wonderful present. Pete Holmes? His show's clips have an up-tempo little drum beat which everyone can get behind, don't you think? He got CANCELLED, and still has like, 100 thousand more subscribers than this one, which is on NBC - a MAJOR network! If you ask me, it's all a direct result of that creepy wax statue-like image of Meyers with the canned, royalty-free music at 3:06. I'm telling you, change it and you'll get 100K extra subscribers overnight and boosted ad revenue. Okay, maybe 1100 subscribers that first night, but...it'll open the flood gates.
