I don’t have one currently but I had a GM several years ago. It’s a very handy bag for work or just as a carefree everyday bag. I always used an organizer in it otherwise it’s a big mess in my opinion. The straps are a bit short for me for shoulder strap especially over coats, and I think I ultimately sold it because it was a bit large for everyday for what I need. The MM would be great for everyday I think, you just might want to try the straps to be sure it’s long enough for your liking. Mine was in mono by the way and those straps are very comfortable compared to ebene leather.

I originally wanted damier ebene, then I saw how pretty and casual the monogram is and it goes with “everything!” I don’t care about aging and patina and every little scuff. Life is going to happen!How did you decide on the print? I don’t mind the larger size...I am very tall at 5’10” and I’ve got some weight to me so strength to carry it isn’t a problem. It’s a big decision and I can’t go into the stores and try it bc of covid! My SA said there is going to be another price increase on March 1. We just had a price increase by $50 on Jan 7th. Wish I could try it on in store, then I would know for sure. I’ve been watching a ton of these videos and I still can’t make a final decision. 🥲

Thanks A J. I am 63 and am very new to luxury. Only have Gucci so far as I like the quality. The Alma BB has been in my thoughts for years but I never felt it would work without a shoulder option and, like you, I don’t want to buy an LV strap. You have excellent taste.
